Fateful Encounters (Hawks x Fem!Reader x Feitan)

Hawks POV

"Tokoyami, how long have we been here?" Hawks asked his friend

"Four months" Hawks already knew, but sometimes he needed a reality check as to how long he's spent looking for you in this world. He didn't think it would be this hard, he thought you'd stick out like a sore thumb, but four months was long enough for him and his sidekick/friend to figure out how this world worked. And truthfully, he wasn't sticking out either.

"This looks like a nice coffee shop, let's stop here for a bit," Hawks stopped in the street pointing to the cafe next to him.

Hawks and Tokoyami went in, ordered and sat down, both exhausted from their mission to find you, but Hawks felt strange here, for the first time since they've been here he could feel someone or something staring at him. So naturally, and fed up he looked in the direction of where he felt the eyes were coming from. Locking eyes with a barista from behind the counter.

"Can I help you?" Asked Hawks curiously and annoyed.

"U-uhm, would your name happen to be Hawks by any chance?" asked the barista timidly. Hawk's eyes went wide, this was the first time anyone approached him by his hero name, and how would he know, other than through y/n.

"How do you know my name?" Hawks got up and went to the counter, coming face to face with the barista and excited to have finally gotten somewhere relatively close to an answer.

"Oh, y/n told me all about you! It was hard to believe at first, for her to have a winged boyfriend, but here you are!" the barista smiled at him. Hawks feeling decently relieved at the most.

"How would you know her? And would you happen to know where she is now?" Hawks peered at the man whose smile seemed to have disappeared.

"I wish i knew, I haven't seen her in a couple of months or so, but she did work at the bookstore a bit down the street, a coworker might be able to tell you more!" and with that the barista gave Hawks the direction and Hawks practically ripped Tokoyami from his seat, very hastily making their way down the street and coming up to the bookstore.

Walking in, it was quiet, with a girl at the counter.

"Excuse me," chimed Hawks to get her attention. She peered up and had a surprised looked on her face for a short moment.

"How can I help you?" she smiled at him with the fake smile all retail workers have.

"I'm looking for y/n, I'm her fiance, Hawks or Keigo, big bird, dummy, really any of those names probably would've been how she referred to me as," Hawks was tapping his feet on the ground waiting for a response, but the first thing he heard come from her was a nervous laugh.

"Oh, uh haha... The last time i saw her, was when she left with this blacked haired, really scary type of guy, I believe his name was Feitan, had a face mask thing with a skull on it, really hard to miss, but other than that, I don't know where she or he went or even if they went together...now if you wouldn't mind, I need to do a few things," realistically she didn't need to do anything but the looks and aura radiating from Hawks was something she needed to get away from.

Which all color was drained from Hawks and his body ran cold, how was he supposed to process all of this? Surely she couldn't be serious but reason would she have to lie, it makes enough sense, maybe she was kidnapped? Surely she wouldn't just go, what about me? Did she forget?

"Hawks.." Tokoyami called him out of the deep pit of his mind. "The least we could do is keep looking until we have no other reason but to do so." Hawks looked at him and nodded and with that they left.

This place, or Yorknew City as it's called was no different from home, with people out on the streets handing out flyers, one in particular caught Hawks attention. It was a flyer for a fight at a place called Heavens Arena, Hawks only needed to skim the page because coming across your name.
