"I wanted to hold your hand but you didn't get it!" Yuko exclaims agitatedly. She and Shigaraki walked beside each other as they followed the trail.Hold my hand? Shigaraki thought. That idea never popped in his mind until today. Even thinking of it scared him. Not because Yuko was an annoying woman that persists with everything she wanted,
but because he was incognizantly afraid of accidentally decaying her even if some quirks wouldn't really affect her.
"And why would you want to hold my hand? Freak." Shigaraki says. Another sudden question popped in his mind. Why am I scared? It's not like I'd care if something happens to her... Shigaraki inwardly grunts. His thoughts just didn't sit right with him compared to when he openly admitted that he cared about Yuko.
But because he's facing Yuko right now is the reason why his question seemed aloof. Deep down, despite exposing himself back then, he was still parlous.
Who's Yuko? What is she? Where is she from? What does she want?
These questions seem to be one of the reasons why he puts a thick line between him and Yuko. But she is the same reason why this line appears to be attenuating.
Yuko gives Shigaraki the impression of being a two-edged sword. She was terrifying and had an unusual altruistic vibe about her that made him both dread and adore her. Yet that same adoration also daunts him.
