Moonlit Escapade

Ext.Rooftop-Night

You're sitting on a rooftop watching the museum from the distance. You hear your earpiece ring.

Partner (V.o.): Hey, can you hear me?

Phantom: I read you loud and clear. You sound a little nervous.

Partner (V.o.): Nervous? Why would I be nervous? We're just breaking into America's most heavily guarded museum. On top of that, we have only two days to steal our objective. There's nothing to be worried about.

Phantom: Listen to me, you have got to calm down. If we're going to get out of this place with the Basilisk I need you focused.

Partner (V.o.): I know. I know. Do you have the keycard?

Phantom: Yeah, I got it.

Partner (V.o.): Ok, that keycard is good for anything up to a level two security door. But you'll have to travel through the sewers to enter the waste disposal area.

Phantom: Can you remind me why my infiltration route had to be through the sewers? Doesn't the waste disposal area have a door?

Partner (V.o.): I know going through the sewers isn't the most glamorous way of breaking in, but, the door to the waste disposal area is being watched by a camera.

Phantom: Alright, I get it. I'm getting close to the manhole.

Partner (V.o.): Alright. Oh and good luck.

You enter the manhole.

Int. Sewers- Moments Later

You travel through the sewers until you find the exit you need.

Int. Waste disposal area-Later

I'm inside. You sneak through the hallways.

Partner (V.o.): You're inside? Good, the basement is close by. You got the EMP?

Phantom: It's right here.

Partner (V.o.): Good. Now, remember you have about a minute to get to the corridor with the lasers before it goes off.

Phantom: I'd probably have more time if I could detonate it remotely.

Partner (V.o.): Well, we couldn't get a remote detonator. Deal with it.

Int. Basement-Later

You set the EMP then you synchronize your watch with the EMP timer.

Phantom: It's set, Rachel.

Partner (V.o.): Alright, now set the timer and make your way to the Basilisk.

You leave the basement.

Int.Hallway-later

You stumble across the body of a guard. Rachel, we got a problem.

Partner (V.o.): What's wrong?

You check to see if there's a pulse.

Phantom: I've found a guard laying on the floor. He's still alive.

Partner (V.o.): Someone knocked out one of the guards? Damn it. Keep going, but be careful there's a good chance someone noticed the radio silence.

Phantom: Roger that.

Int. Laser Corridor-Later

The corridor is saturated with lasers. You still have five seconds before the EMP detonates. The timer goes off then the lasers vanish for a brief time.
