The stars glittered coldly in the sky as the sound of Mintpool's paw steps echoed further and further away from the clearing. The clearing where she'd once learned all of the skills she has now. The clearing where she'd spent hours in with a cat she believed was her best friend, a piece of land that held some of her happiest moments. The clearing where she'd murdered that best friend.

As an owl hooted, breaking the silence that had filled the air since Mintpool retreated, something within that clearing rustled. Then, Holly climbed to her paws. A soft smirk danced across the golden tabby's face as she leaned down to clear the blood off her pelt. She did carry wounds, it's true, but it was nothing that would've killed her. They'd heal overtime, and become nothing more than battle scars that could intimidate.

She could've killed Mintpool, but there was no need. She'd already turned the gray tabby's life upside-down. That had been her goal. She'd won the game.

Finishing, Holly padded away, off to find her next friend.

Hello!! I told you the Epilogue would be quite short, though this is longer than I'd pictured, hehe. Anyway, Holly isn't dead!! In my opinion, it'd be pretty unrealistic if Mintpool had been able to kill Holly just like that, especially with the intimidation factors & stories that Holly had told.

I will have a thank you note out soon after this! As always, have a lovely, lovely day!! Bye!
