Hello! To each and every one of you who's made it to this point, thank you so, so much. Thank you for clicking on this book in the first place, thank you for reading it, and thank you for bearing through all the extremely bad lack of updates.

When I first started writing this book, in no way did I think it'd grow to this point, or get 1k views, even, so I'm just so incredibly grateful for all of you! You all are so amazing, and just thank you again <3

With that being said, I have seen a couple books where at the end, the author reveals some things that they had planned for the book, but decided against it, and I thought it'd be fun to share some of the ones for the Mintpool books!

1. Mintpool & Cobrastrike were going to become mates and going to have kits.
This one I came up with VERY early in the process of writing. I was trying to go for a power-couple sort of thing I guess? Not sure, but if you look back at my earlier writing (Mintpool's Promise), there's this one part where Cobrastrike just stares at Mintpool and that's younger me trying to put in foreshadowing for this plan, but then somewhere along the way I was just like, nope. Anyway, I was pretty into this idea - like I even had their kits' names planned out 😅

2. Robinflight wasn't even going to be a character.
I'm not sure if many people remember this, but early early when I first started writing Mintpool's Promise, I made an announcement asking for ideas for what I should add into the book considering there was going to be a big lapse in time where nothing much was going to happen. dreamcloudofstarclan (now District3Tribute - go follow her!) gave me the idea of adding a kittypet into the story, and wow - I genuinely don't even know where the story would even be without Robinflight, so I just need to give her another huge thanks for that idea.

3. Mintpool was going to become friends with Mamba.
That... obviously didn't happen. I didn't plan for it not to happen, I guess, like how I got rid of the Cobrastrike & Mintpool idea, but I certainly wasn't super focused on it? So as their relationship progressed (with the fact that Holly was there, of course), it leaned towards a more enemies thing, and I just kinda rolled with it. But let me know - do you think that it would've been cool for them to be friends?

4. Mintpool was going to become the Council Leader.
I don't really have a story for this one other than the fact that I got lazy with writing fighting scenes, hehe. Plus it would've seemed too unrealistic, maybe? But to be fair, the entire story's unrealistic, LOL.

5. Robinflight was going to survive and become leader of AirClan.
This one I REALLY played around with. Like I was like, should I do it, or no? I mean I know almost everyone wants Robinflight to die, but then again, wouldn't it be cool if she survived? I dunno - let me know which ending you prefer!

6. Robinflight has a crush on Leafwhisker.
This one is not a idea I had and then I got rid of - it's still... somewhat accurate? I never really focused on that idea, but I would say she does have somewhat of a crush on Leafwhisker. I think it would make a bit more sense as to why she instantly jumped up to get Mintpool exiled - like she was jealous at the thought that Mintpool had kits with Leafwhisker, if that makes sense.

Anyway, those are the ones I can think of! The first one was really a plot changer, hehe. Also! Novellas will be out soon - I left an announcement asking about the characters for the novellas, and basically to sum it up: after finishing the book, what characters would you like to see in the novellas? Feel free to let me know!
Edit: Not doing novellas anymore, simply because I don't have the inspiration, but who knows? Maybe I'll pick it up again sometime in the future!
