You have got to be kidding me. Azriel thought, as the group walked into the bar. Of all places Cassian could have picked it had to be a Karaoke bar. It was as if he knew the exact place Azriel didn't want to be. But... the opportunity this gave him. If Gwyn decided to sing something (ah ah ah aha ah ), he would finally be able to witness what he has dreamt of, since their conversation on the roof. He looked over at her then, thinking about all the songs they could sing together. Not that he would ever sing in front of his friends. She was laughing with Nesta about something.

That laugh.

It was as if the clouds were parting to the brightest sunrise he could imagine.

He couldn't think about that. He had no right. She never gave the smallest inclination that she was interested in him. She had been through so much, what did he do to deserve her. He had killed and tortured. Gwyn was a bright light that had been through so much darkness. He couldn't add to that. Wouldn't add to that.

She glanced at him, with her smile still on her face. All his protests emptied from his mind. All he saw was her, there was nothing else.

Only her.

Gods, he needed a drink.

After finding his way over to the bar, he ordered his first and only drink for the night. A water.

"What are you having?" Azriel looked over to see Gwyn standing next to him ordering drinks for herself and her friends."Just water for me tonight." He said, tipping his cup in her direction. He looked down at the 3 shots the bartender handed to her. "Sure you can handle all that?" He asked with a small wry smile. "You know these aren't all for me." She said laughing back to her table. He leaned against the bar, facing the room. He wanted everyone to have fun tonight, so he decided it was up to him to keep everyone safe while that happened. The only dangerous thing that was happening though, was that Cassian was making his way to the microphone.
