AVINASH

I stared at my bed and while being completely shocked. I couldn't even understand how to react to this. The bedsheet, and most probably the mattress would be wet, and I can't ask anyone to clean it. They would know about my stunt and it would be embarrassing.

I looked around, thinking about what to do. I was getting frustrated, I couldn't even wash the bed sheet by myself because my broken hand and my chopped off finger wouldn't let me do that.

I sat on the couch, frustrated.
"Aahhh! My life is miserable," I scoffed and then I looked at my hand.

My hand looked terrible and I couldn't help but cry looking at it. The four fingers were all okay, perfectly fit while the fifth one wasn't there. There was just a bandage so that the wound recovers.

"My finger..." I cried out, holding my hand.
I hate my life. I hate that bitch Kiara and I hate... No no... I am scared of Nandini. She is a zombie who is behind me and wants to eat me up. This isn't fair.

"Mommy... Please, please help... God, make my finger grow magically," I cried, looking here and there. But after a minute, I paused.

"No! No! No. I can't cry. I can't cry at all," I reminded myself and wiped my tears. I wasn't here to cry.

People lose body parts, but still, they live. And it's... It's just a little finger. I can't cry for something so little. Avinash, buckle up. Get a hold of yourself.

I gasped, as I was finally able to control my scared mind. I looked at the mirror and smiled.
"I am here to take over chachu's mafia empire. Be the mafia king. And I will do that, at any cost. I won't stop. And these little injuries, these won't stop me from achieving my ulterior motive," I sighed as I smiled.

RUDRANEEL

The next morning, I entered my room and saw Kiara sleeping peacefully on the bed. I saw the t-shirt she was wearing, and I couldn't help but smile. Unknowingly, she has worn my favourite t-shirt and she was looking cute, like a kid.

I then looked around the room, and it looked messed up. Her bridal attire and jewellery were scattered here and there. I was particular regarding my room, so I gasped.

I picked up her Lehenga, and damn, that was heavy. I huffed and folded the lehenga and her dupatta. After folding the clothes, I kept them in my wardrobe.
After that, I arranged her jewellery and kept that on a jewellery box and placed it on the dressing table.

And when I was done, I turned around and looked at her. She was sleeping peacefully and more like a baby. I couldn't help, but smile.

I walked towards her and sat beside her on the bed. And after that, I smiled.

She looked innocent, and someone, who didn't know about anything going on in this world. She is the most beautiful girl that I have ever seen in my life. Her skin looked soft and delicate, her plum lips, curling like she was pouting in her sleep, she looked like the cutest princess.

But with this innocence, she did had something that attracted me towards her the most. Her eyes. She didn't have a pinch of fear in her eyes from the very first day I saw her. She was headstrong, a girl, who knows how to fight for herself and not to fear. She does what she believes and is unapologetic. This girl has no idea how strong she is.

I was attracted to her, to be honest. From the very first day, I saw her. The way she faced me, no one in this entire world has ever done to me. She wasn't intimidated by me. And maybe that's why, the guy who had pledged not to fall in love and not to marry, ended up falling in love and marrying her.
