"Thank you, Huckleberry," Maya says.

Lucas had come over after Maya called him because of the snake she and Riley had found in the kitchen. According to him, it was a black rat snake, so it was harmless. Maya didn't care, she just wanted it gone; who better to call about it than the Texan himself? He agreed without a second thought and arrived quickly. He had gotten the snake outside, in about 20 minutes, without getting bitten. They were now standing at the door, Lucas getting ready to leave.

He smiles, "Anytime. See you tomorrow, Maya?" She nodded. "Alright, I'll pick you up at 3. Bye, y'all!"

After the door closes, Riley asks, "Since when are y'all dating?"

Maya rolls her eyes, "We are just friends, you know that, Rils."

"Are you joking? He looks at you like you're his entire world, and you look at him the same way!"

"No, I don't.'

"Yes, you do! Peaches, I've been watching you both falling harder for each other every day since eighth grade. Admit it!"

"Riley, even if I did like Lucas, he doesn't feel the same."

"Have you two talked about it??"

"Of course not! I don't want to mess up our friendship."

"So you do like him?"

"What do you think Riley?" Maya rolled her eyes as she sighed. The girls, now, sitting at the island in the kitchen.

"I think you love him."

"I don't know, but I like him... A lot."

"Peaches, you need to talk with him. I can guarantee he likes you back!"

"How? How do you know for sure?"

"He told Farkle that he wants to ask you out, but he is worried about hurting your friendship. Farkle told me."

"Are you serious?" Maya ask doubtfully.

"Yes. Now ask him out!" Riley cheers.

"Yea?"

"Yea!"

"Should I do it tomorrow? When I meet him for the concert?"

"That's a great idea! Ask him when you two get home!" Riley smiles ear to ear, her best friend had finally admitted her feelings.

"Okay, help me pick out an outfit," Maya smiles, jumping up heading to her room.

Riley heads straight to Maya's closet and begins looking through her clothes, "Who's playing tomorrow?"

Maya replies, "Cody Johnson. He is one of Lucas' favorite country music stars."

Nodding, Riley says, "So your outfit needs to work with country music. You need boots!"

Maya holds up a pair of brown cowboy boots, "How about these?"

"They will go perfectly with these shorts!" Riley is holding up a pair of light-washed shorts, finger length when on. Maya nods, reaching around Riley to grab a blue, large strap tank top. "That is perfect! The V-neck will look perfect with your star necklace and earrings!"

"Perfect! I can't believe I'm really gonna do this!"
