😷Waking Up🤕

Jack's P.O.V-

"Really", "(Gasp) Jack Look Out!!" Y/n screamed and I looked up and turned the wheel. 

The front of that car hit the front of ours and Y/n's head hit against the dashboard while her airbag never popped out. Mine did and protected my head but then out of nowhere another car hit the back of ours making our car flipped over. 

The windows shattered and I could barley keep my eyes open. Minutes passed and my head couldn't even process what was happening till I remembered Y/n. 

I gasped and turned to look at Y/n. Her eyes were shut, and blood was leaking from her forehead and landing onto the roof of the car. We were upside down and I couldn't even trace down where the rest of the blood was escaping from.

"Y/n! Are you okay? Please, answer me" I begged hoping she would respond. 

"I-...I'm...Just..... I'm gonna....just take a nap.... and rest....my...eyes" Y/n stuttered and I could tell she was short on breath. 

"I'm so so sorry" I whispered as my eyes were taking over and closing allowing my whole body to just shut down for now. 

Y/n P.o.v- 

I flickered my eyes open but they immediately closed as the light shined in my eyes. 

I felt so weak, that one eye-opener drained all my energy. I just felt dead. 

I winced as my head started pounding and all the pain was now reaching me. It was as if life had glitched. 

I was hearing faint voices but my brain couldn't even comprehend a single word. 

"Is, Is mommy donna be otay" I heard Paisley's voice cry. 

My breathing stabled and my eyes were slowly opening, I could feel all the pain fade into a faint pain instead, and my headache was fading. 

"She's awake!" Alexis cheered. 

I slowly opened my mouth to talk but ended up coughing. "Hey, Hey easy there, your mouth might be dry since you haven't drunken anything in a couple of days," Lexi warned me.

"Mommy!" Paisley yelped and hugged me. 

I smiled and helped her up in the hospital making sure that the edges didn't hurt her. 

"I missed you" She yawned. I could feel her tears get absorbed by my hospital gown. I could tell that she was tired and so I just massaged her head with my free hand. 

I paused for a second as I saw that Paisley was passed out. 

I carefully looked around saw that Lexi was falling asleep. I reached over, making sure I didn't hurt Paisley, and drank the water sitting on the table. 

"Hey Lexi," I asked Alexis, with my scratchy throat. 

"Yeah?" She replied. "Why am I in the hospital," I asked her. 

Her face turned serious, "You don't remember what happened". 

"No, but how bad was it," I asked out of curiosity. 

"Y/n, um... Is Paisley asleep"

I double-checked and saw that she was passed out. 

"Y/n, um I don't exactly know how to explain this to you" 

"What happened?" I asked again but this time I was worried. 

"Y/n, you and Jack got in a car accident, you'll have to ask Jack for the details, but all I know is that you two got in a car accident with 4 different cars and when the 1st car hit you guys your airbag didn't pop out so you hit your head hard on the dashboard, and that's um one of the main reasons your here-" Lexi explained, but got cut off by the door opening. 

"Ah, your finally awake Ms.Writters. I'm Dr.Lopez. How are you feeling"

"Um, I'm not sure, all the pains slowly going away" I answered since I didn't exactly know how I was feeling.

"That's good, but please tell us if you feel anything else at any time, you took a hard hit to your head, along with almost fracturing your legs," Dr.Lopez told me. 

"Um, may I ask, what injuries did my body take," I asked? 

"You received a concussion, bruised ribs, bruised bones, and many cuts and other bruises. And your boyfriend well it's some sort of miracle but he only suffered from bruises and cuts from the glass, but we have to keep him here until he can heal properly because as of right now his body is very exhausted and is slowly healing."

"Can I see him?" I asked wanting to make sure he was okay. 

"Well no, Ms.Writters your body is still very ill, you have stitches that could rip if you made any big movements, your concussion is very severe, and your ribs are badly bruised" 

I sighed and rubbed Paisleys back. 

"Oh, I didn't realize Paisley was here, she must be exhausted from being up all morning, and you too Ms.Alexis," Dr.Lopez noticed before leaving. 

"How long have you been up," I asked Lexi.

"Oh um, well not that long" Lexi lied. 

"Lexiiiiiii",

"Um the past 3 days, I've been living on energy drinks and caffeine, and occasionally took 20-minute naps, but I've been staying with you, and the boys came earlier and paid you a whole bunch of visits, We've been switching between you and Jack. So has Paisley she was with Jack all morning and she got sad since you weren't waking up" Lexi explained taking sips of her red bull. 

"I'm sorry Lexi",

"Why don't be sorry. Y/n this is what being a friend is for".

"Well I'm gonna go grab a few snacks and drinks, if you want anything tell me but I'm also gonna go tell the boys you woke up" 

"Can you bring me McDonald's, and a happy meal for Paisley, Oh and can you bring me a strawberry kiwi Arizona, or watermelon flavor Arizona?" I asked. 

"Yeah! um do you want your regular order" 

I nodded, "A quarter pounder with fries and 20 piece chicken nuggets to split with you and Paisley".

"Gotcha" Lexi smiled and left.
