Celine held her composure all the way until the car pulled up to the cabin in the woods, it had took them two hours to get there and that was red flag number one. Her stomach was turning and she was regretting everything but it was too late to turn around now. Once they pulled up Amiri's security walked around to their side to help them out but she politely declined and carried Casey herself up to the cabin before she even got all the way out the guard had pulled off, but she peeped he didn't go far just parked a few trees down.
It was the moment of truth, literally. She knocked hard on the door three times before Amiri came jogging from the living room. soon as he opened the door he greeted them with the biggest grin but she held her mug even though Casey was eagerly reaching for his father.
"Hey Tarzan" he cooed poking at Casey's side Celine just rolled her eyes.
"Amiri, please tell me you didn't have Herb shot at?!?" she blurted not wasting any time getting to the point.
He smacked his lips and gave her a look. "That's actually news to me did he survive?!"
"Um, Yeah."
"Damn."
Celine rolled her eyes, "Amiri, it's not happening. You're Casey's father and that's it. You'll never be my nigga again."
"You belong to me girl stop playin' wit me forreal slime."
"I-." she was interrupted by the voice of a female booming from his cellphone. "Really? see what i mean?? you think i wanna be with you and you a hoe?!"
"Say, these hoes ain't on shit Ce you know i always genuinely loved you. Nobody can say that."
"If i was still stupid those words might've had some effect, i know you well enough to know you'll never change."
"You don't give a nigga a chance."
"Amiri just stop i'm not here to rekindle nothing.. i just need to know if you sent yo dirty ass friends to shoot at my man!"
He stepped closer to her and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him, he then started to gently plant soft kisses along her jawline. "I miss you so much, Ce.."
Celine's knees buckled at Amiri's touch, she was tempted to cave in but she regained composure. "Mir, stop.. Answer the question." she pushed him away and crossed her arms over her chest.
