A FEW WEEKS LATER

a few weeks had passed since the whole Me and Amiri incident and things were starting to die down on campus so i was settling in perfectly. Classes started today so i was prepping for that, after my shower i grabbed my toothbrush and brushed my teeth once finished i started on my hair i removed the silk pink bonnet from my head letting down my '24 inch tresses, i leaned over plugging in the flat irons and dipped out the bathroom for a moment to give them time to heat up i searched for an outfit. i damaged the room scrambling through my closet for the perfect first day fit. my eyes landed on a black two piece set i'd ordered from a boutique online called fashion nova, the top was cropped and the flared leggings hugged my waist nicely.

i grabbed my pink balenciaga handbag along with my gold wristband my nana gave to me before her passing. "Damn, i look so good." i turned to the side admiring my ass in these leggings and how nice it sat i was pulled out my trance when i started to smell the flat irons quickly i rushed back to the bathroom and flat ironed my hair bone straight, after applying the finishing touches; lashes, lipgloss, and a little makeup. i unplug the flat irons and put them away leaving the rest of my mess on the bathroom counter considering i didn't have a roomie yet i didn't bother taking extra time to clean up i was already bout to be running late and there's nothing like the first impression.

Leaving the dorms i made my way over to the next building for my classes. "Yoooo" i heard someone call out from afar but i had no time to stop i had to make it to class i started walking faster and bumped into the person in front of me. "I am so sorry." i bent down to help gather their things i had knocked down, "It's okay shawty." his voice was raspy as hell we got up off the ground and i was finally able to see the face that matched the voice.
