The Boy In My Dreams

Chapter Three

Harry's POV

I could hear muffling voices. It's Hermoine and Ron, but there were more. I couldn't make out the other two, but the last one, it's the same as the boy in my dream. As the voices grew louder, I stirred, and let out a small whimper, "ugh...", "Oh look what you've done! That mouth of yours woke him up!" I visibly heard Hermoine scold someone, "Harry, you're awake. How are you feeling? Should I call Madam Porfey?" I couldn't believe my eyes as I open them, the mercuryeyed boy with blond mane, the same one in my dreams was here with me. The way he held my hand, it's so gentle, unconsciously I smiled as he helped me sit up. It was so warm, till suddenly, "What are you doing Malfoy!?" Ron yelled, 'Malfoy? wait, Malfoy?! What's he doing here?!' I put up a shocked face as I scooch far from him, 'this can't be true! there's no way that boy is Malfoy!' 

"H-harry" he manage to call me and kept holding my hand, 'since when did he call me Harry?!' "L-let go! Let go of my hand! Leave me alone!" I screamed so loud while searching for my wand, but I couldn't find it. "W-where is my wand?! Where did you take it?!" I yanked my hand away and went on a rampage, I saw everyone looking at me, then I realize that I'm at the Hospital Wing. 'did they see everything? are they pitying me now?' those thoughts drilled my mind as I finally found my wand. "L-leave me alone!" I manage to say while pointing my wand at them, ready to cast a spell even though I'm still weak, 'i don't need your pity!' "stupefy!" Madam Porfey knocked out my wand, "P-poppy? Why?" I weakly asked as I held in my hand, her spell stung my hand pretty badly.

Out of nowhere, I don't know how I did it, without my wand because it was knocked away, I muttered a powerful barrier spell, throwing them out in the process. I was too shocked when the pain attacked my head again, the last thing I heard was Malfoy banging the barrier calling my name, "Harry! Harry!" then once again I blacked out.

Third Person POV

Draco kept banging the barrier while calling Harry, but to no avail, Harry had completely fainted. He then turned back to get the others, "Pansy! Blaise! Wake up!" Draco tried to wake them up, but the blow had knocked them out badly, he then tried waking up Hermoine and Ron, "Wake up! Granger! Weasel! Harry's trapped there! He fainted!", "Come on! You guys!" he panicked out kneeling in the process, everyone was knocked out, "Mr. Malfoy, calm down. They just fainted from the blow." said Madam Porfey, calming him down. Draco then saw Madam Porfey too had some minor bruises, "Madam... Harry... he's.." He couldn't hold it anymore, Draco cried in Madam Porfey's embrace. "Shhh Mr. Malfoy, it's alright. We'll save him. But for now, we must treat the others first, then report to the headmaster. Can you do that?" Madam Porfey was gently reassuring as she patted Draco's shoulders. Draco just nodded, he never felt so scared, first, he saw Harry's real state that shock him, now seeing Harry trapped himself in a barrier knocking everyone there even injured Madam Porfey, while he couldn't do anything but bang the barrier, calling Harry's name. He felt so useless, just like his dream, though at least the emerald-eyed boy had a smile, Draco still feel so useless. 

"Now, let's get them to the remaining bed in the next room, far enough from the barrier." instructed Madam Porfey, "why can't they be in the same room? then what about Harry ?" Draco asked, feeling reluctant to leave Harry in a different room. "We don't know what's powering the barrier, if they're in the same room, we might not able to perform much to free Harry. Because that barrier had knocked out so much, it's too dangerous." reasoned Madam Porfey, understanding her reason, Draco just nodded and help her move the other students, while Madam Porfey send an emergency butterfly to the headmaster Dumbledore and the DADA professor Lupin. After all the students are moved and treated, Draco went to the next room, where Madam Porfey, Headmaster Dumbledore, and Professor Lupin, are trying to deactivate the barrier Harry's in.

Draco's POV

I walked into the room and saw Harry still knocked out in his bed behind the barrier. Professor Lupin and headmaster Dumbledore had tried any deactivating spell, even alohomora, but the barrier won't budge. Madam Porfey then tried to bang the barrier as he did before, only to be thrown away by a powerful force, "Madam Porfey! Are you alright ?" I asked worriedly and confused, "yes, I'm alright, but something's wrong." said Madam Porfey standing up, "what do you mean something's wrong? Is Harry going to be alright ?" I quickly asked, now I'm feeling more worried, "Harry's going to be alright, but for the barrier, I'm afraid no spell or no one could undo it.", said Professor Lupin lowering his wand. "but why? there must be a spell or something!" I said as I ran and bang the barrier, "Harry! Wake up! it's me! Harry!" I called out Harry's name, but to no avail, neither Harry nor the barrier had woken up. I could feel myself starts to cry as I lower my hands, but then, "Draco, you can touch the barrier ?" 

'uhh, what? wait I could touch the barrier!' As soon as the realization hit me, Professor Lupin asked me, "Mr. Malfoy, do you perhaps have something to do with Mr. Potter? Or do you know the reason why he had made this barrier ?" "I... I'm not quite sure myself professor. It just hit me that I could touch the barrier, while others can't, and it reminds me, the barrier had knocked out everyone before, but it didn't touch me." I said, trying to explain that I'm surprised myself. "Draco, may I have a word please ?" suddenly headmaster Dumbledore asked for me, "S-sure headmaster." I shuttered out. 

As I follow his footsteps, I could feel my hands starts to sweat, "calm down Draco, I'm not asking for anything bad." headmaster Dumbledore said, snapping me out of a daze, "it's just, it might be surprising, but have you seen Harry before this accident ?" he asked me, 'is he asking me about Harry's condition? should I tell him? ugh this is confusing!' "I-i have, as I was the one who brought Harry to Madam Porfey, this morning he had fainted at the Breakfast Hall." I manage to recall what happened before the incident. "Did Poppy, I mean Madam Porfey perhaps show you something ?" "That's enough Albus." roared Madam Porfey as she shielded me. "What could be the problem Poppy? I was just asking." his tone sends shivers to my spine, 'just what's going on? shouldn't it be alright for him to know?! why did she stop me for.' that's when it hit me, Madam Porfey had told me that Harry wouldn't be happy if someone else knew about his conditions, that someone includes the headmaster himself, but why?

I was still in a daze when suddenly, "Everyone, I know the way to deactivate the barrier!"
