Chapter Four

Draco's POV

I was still in a daze when suddenly, "Everyone, I know the way to deactivate the barrier!" 

Professor Lupin came rushing with a smile on his face, snapping me out in the process. "Please share us, Professor." I quickly ask him. "it's you, Mr. Malfoy! only you could deactivate it!" said Professor Lupin as he put his hands on my shoulders, "M-me ?" I'm surprised myself, "H-how? why is it me ?" I bombed out questions, as I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. "Care to explain Professor Lupin ?" the headmaster's voice asked him, "well, as you know, Mr. Malfoy here is the only one who could touch the barrier, and he's been banging the barrier. I suppose Mr. Malfoy, you haven't used a single deactivating spell on the barrier, have you ?" explained Professor Lupin, 

"exactly! either of us can touch or cast spells on the barrier, it only cost us more damage. But Mr. Malfoy, he could touch it, so his spells might just be the key!" exclaimed Madam Porfey, "true, I haven't used any spells as I panicked when it happened." I said as I gave it a thought, 'that reminds me, why didn't I use any spells?  probably due to I didn't realize I could touch the barrier. I was too panicked after all. It all went so fast.' "So, how is it going to be? Can you deactivate the barrier Draco ?" headmaster Dumbledore asked me for reassurance, 'should I do it ?' no more like, 'can I do it ?' those thoughts ran free in my head, "Mr. Malfoy ?" Madam Porfey called, looking at me with eyes of hope as if she's saying, 'you can do it!'. I shook my head,  "I'll do it." with a determination eyes, I said those words. Truth to be told I wasn't sure myself if I could do it, but since I'm the only key, for Harry I'll do it. 'I will save Harry and find the bottom of this.' "let's go, I'll reperform the spell, you Mr. Malfoy will then use it to deactivate the barrier and save Harry," explained Professor Lupin heading towards the barrier. "Oh my Merlin!" suddenly Madam Porfey said, looking petrified, "You have to hurry! Harry's losing time!" she scream, 

"ALAHAMORRA!" without thinking or even waiting for Professor Lupin, I shout out the spell at the barrier. the thought of Harry losing time scared the Merlin out of me. As soon as the spell hit the barrier, a powerful windblown up, again it didn't touch me, but it was enough for me to realize that the barrier was down. I ran up, "Harry!" I shook his body, 'he's cold as ice!' "Madam Porfey! Professor Lupin! Headmaster!" I called out, as I knew they'd be blown away, while muttering warming spells as I hug Harry's freezing body, hoping it would at least warm him up, it was my very own spell, one I created back then inside that cold manor during my punishments. 'please warm-up... save him! why haven't they arrived yet!' I cursed in my mind as I didn't know that they were blown away that far, 

"Harry!" "Draco!" suddenly I heard Granger and Pansy's voice. "g-guys" I weakly said as I kept muttering heating spells, "He's so cold!" exclaimed Granger as she touch Harry's hand, 'he's not getting any warm at all!' "Ron levitate any broken things and bring it here!" "Blaise burn it!" ordered Granger and Pansy, "What ?!" Ron said, "JUST DO IT!" I yelled, "Harry's not warming up!", "Fine! Wingardium Leviosa!" shout Ron levitating a broken bed, "INCENDIO!" shot Blaise setting the levitating bed on fire, "hey! why did you set it while I was levitating it!?" shrieked Ron, "Duh, it'll burn the Hospital Wing if I set in on the ground!" bit back Blaise, "would you two just shut up and bring it here?! and Blaise, just help him keep it levitating!" I ordered them, as I can't stand them yelling all the time, 'can't they be like the girls? calm and collected.' "has professor Lupin, Madam Porfey, and headmaster back yet ?" I asked Pansy, "what?! there were professors here ?! then where are they?!" Blaise yelled. 

"Perhaps you students would like to know the feeling of being blown away to the front Hospital Wing door from here?" Madam Porfey's voice surprising everyone here, while the others were behind her panting, and shockingly there's Professor Snape too, "care to explain Draco ?" asked Professor Snape, "later Severus, Harry's losing time. Quick Mr. Malfoy bring him to the next room!" said Madam Porfey as she hurried back to the other room, I nodded and carried Harry bridal style following her. In the next room, I laid Harry on the bed and waited as Madam Porfey skillfully yet so carefully treated Harry. 

Third Person POV

While Draco's patiently waited for Harry, the others are helping in the previous room. "Professor, what happened ?" Hermoine asked earning everyone's attention, "apparently Mr. Potter had unconsciously cast a powerful barrier without incantations, enough to knock everyone out cold. However, it didn't touch Mr. Malfoy, that's why as you can see, he's good as new. Madam Porfey had called an emergency butterfly to me and headmaster regarding this matter, and truth to be told, Mr. Malfoy was the only key to deactivating and freeing Harry, because he's the only one not affected to the barrier, such as able to touch even bang it without being blown away, while other did." explained Professor Lupin while levitating and repairing the room. "Then how did he free Harry ? and why aren't there any professors when Harry's free ?" questions Hermoine, 

"Didn't you hear what the professor said? Of course, Draco's the one who frees him, but due to the effect blow, the barrier might've knocked everyone except for Draco, who unaffected." sarcastically Pansy ended the explanation, "that proofs why we only saw Malfoy holding Harry when the blow went down." Ron added, "but how far did the wind blow ?", "a few feet before the Hospital Wing, that's when I found them." Professor Snape voice out. "THAT FAR?!" room shouted, "remind you that we're in the Hospital Wing Mr. Weasley," said Professor Snape sending the whole room to an awkward silence and going back to what they're doing.

Just then Madam Porfey entered the room looking exhausted. "Madam Porfey, how is Harry?" without warning Ron ran to Madam Porfey, "hold him Granger." said Pansy looking like she's gonna snap, "have a seat Poppy." offered headmaster, "thank you, Albus," thanked Madam Porfey as she took the seat, while everyone else finishes the room. "So, how is he ?"
