TWO WEEKS LATER

Kobe and his gf were in his house chilling. He was texting Imani but then....

Nai: i gotta tell you something

Kobe: yo?

Nai: I know you probably won't believe me but Imani has been so rude to me for the past three weeks and I don't know why.

Kobe: what she been saying?

The tone in his voice didn't really sound believing

Nai: she been talking shit about the way I dress, the way I look and she's told me she wants us to break up. I mean honestly I feel like you should keep your distance from her..

Imani and Kobe have been bestfriends for 3+ years he had always believed her over anyone but in this situation he didn't...well at least that's what Nai thought.

Kobe: I'll talk to her during 0 period tomorrow

IMANI'S POV

This was my first therapist appointment. I didn't wanna tell her about the killing my self thing or how I have that eating disorder yet. But we talked about Kobe and his gf but mainly him

Therapist: okay so tell me about Kobe.

Mani: me and him have been bestfriends since middle school

Therapist: girl you know I need more than that

Mani: okay okay...well it's like each day I see him I gain so kind of lovey feelings. My crush for him started last year and well everything was good and great we get to know each other better everyday and um well he kissed me two weeks ago and what am I forgett- oh yea he has a girlfriend.

Therapist: when did he get a girlfriend?

Mani: don't know. I found out when I walked into my house and she was there and he was like "this is my girlfriend"

Therapist: before I go back to that kiss, how did it make you feel when he told you he had a girlfriend?

Mani: I mean at first I had a "omg!" Reaction because I love seeing him happy but then I realized "oh shit he has a gf" then I was a little hurt but I brushed it off.

Therapist: so how do you feel about her now?

Mani: I don't like her at all. But I cant tell him that I'm just gonna see how it plays out but I've kinda been avoiding him since the kiss

Therapist: oh lord Imani. unfortunately we've ran out of time. Next week we are talking about the kiss and going from there

She walked me out and I got in my moms car

Mom: how'd it go?

Mani: great..I'm just ready to get this week over with

Mom: and what do you mean by that?

Mani: I just have like a gut feeling that somethings gonna go wrong this week.

Mom: damn girl. You really are ya mothers daughter

Mani: ma we been knew that

Mom: so um the boys are going to the movies..I think you should go

Mani: how do you know who's gonna be there?

Mom: cause they the same ass people that be coming to my house unannounced every damn day!
