"Don't look at me like that." The black hair woman snapped at her brother. "Oliver." She gulped, debating whether or not to tell him- to ACTUALLY tell him, FORMALLY- that Oliver was the arrow. "Is the arrow. The vigilante. The girl in the news, the one who works with the 'dark archer' is me. The dark archer is Merlyn." It all came out like a blurt and Rebecca immediately felt like her shoulders were lighter. "Wow. Um okay." Barry didn't know how to respond, he had so many questions. "Barry. You should probably get back to Central City. Joe must be worried sick." His younger sister urged. "Maybe you should come back too. Things have changed. The city and me and Iris and Joe. They and I miss you." He smiled sadly. "Barry, I'm not going back to Central. I can't. Sorry." The young woman had her reasons for not wanting to return to her home city but she wasn't about to tell Barry them. He sighs deeply. "Alright. Just call me if you need me." He kisses Rebecca's head softly and walks up the stairs of the foundry. When he left, tears jumped to her eyes. She hid so many secrets from him and he was probably a lot more upset than he let on. "He probably hates me now." She grumbled in a whisper so no one could hear.

{Two weeks later}
The news had spoken about the explosion of a particle accelerator in Central City and the Allen didn't think once about it until her phone was buzzing and the caller ID was Joe. "Hello?" She said into the phone, she said it quietly because she was in the cave with Oliver training. "Rebecca..... It's Barry. He's in a coma from the explosion. He was struck by lighting." Rebecca's jaw dropped and she closed her eyes. "Okay. Thanks for telling me. I'll be home soon, okay?" Her throat was dry and it was hard to speak. With a swift movement she hung up and put her phone in her brown leather purse. "What is it Becca?" Oliver asked, his voice unusually compassionate and laced with concern. "It's Barry. He got in an accident was now he is in a coma and I have to go to Central City now." She said rushed and grabbed her stuff and started towards the staircase. "I'm sorry. I'll call you, okay?" Rebecca suggested and ran out the door, called a cab, and went straight to the train station. After the four hour train ride that felt like an eternity, she was back in Central City. Her roots, her old life she had left behind. She called another cab and it took her to Joe's house. Rebecca entered with out knocking and when she walked in Iris was crying and Joe looked extremely tired. "Hi guys." She was awkward and didn't have any bags except for a purse. She hugged Iris tightly and the coffee shop employee cried into her shoulder. "Sh." Rebecca tried to comport Barry's best friend. After she pulled away, she shot a look at Joe who didn't say anything all he did was shrug. Later that day Rebecca goes to the hospital to see him. He looked so calm, his breathing was rhythmic and his usually messy brown tangled hair was smooth and flat. "Why did this have to happen to you? It should've been me." Tears spilled over her face. She was almost 100 percent sure Barry couldn't hear her and for that she was glad for that. Felicity, Oliver's partner and Barry's friend came to visit the young scientist the next day and having her around made Rebecca feel a bit more happy and hopeful. The blonde was a positive person and just lit up wherever she was. After a day hanging out with Barry, the two young ladies went out to coffee at Jitter's coffee shop. "So are you and Oliver like a thing?" Felicity asked, smirking. "I don't know. Maybe? Kinda." Rebecca couldn't talk about her feelings like this. "Are you and Barry dating?" Rebecca asked, her turn to be the interrogator. "What? No!" Felicity blushed. Rebecca laughed, "you guys would be cute together." Felicity rose an eyebrow, "you think?" Was her reply and Rebecca nods grinning.
