"Aster! I'm so glad that you could make it!" I arrived at the clearing and Rose hugged me.
It was Tuesday and Rose had invited me to hang out with her and her friends and I agreed.
I sat down on the grass and she introduced me to her friends.
Ellie was a tiger too.
Jamie was a wolf
And Amy was a butterfly, which sounded so cool.
We spent two hours talking and just playing games.
My phone dinged and I checked it.
It was from Ty.
"Hey, I have great news. Meet me at the den in an hour."
"Why are you smiling like that?" Jamie asked.
"Well, I asked Ty yesterday to teach me how to fight and I think he has agreed because he wants to meet me at the den." I said.
"Oh really?"
"Are you smiling because you are gonna get to learn to fight or because he is gonna teach you." Rose joked. I kind of smiled.

"Alright, I'm here. What is the news you wanted to tell me?" I walked into the common room.
"Hey! So you wanna learn to fight, right?" he said. I nodded.
"Why exactly do you want to learn?"
"So you wouldn't have to rescue me all the time. I want to learn to protect myself." I admitted
"Oh, well, if that's your reason, then you'll like the proposition I have for you." Ty smiled.
"I'm listening."
"How would you like to be the leader of the mist clan?!" He said.
"Really..?"
"Yep!"
"But aren't you the leader? I don't want to take your position, and I don't even know how to be a leader...?" I was confused about why he wanted me to take his position.
"... Well, then we can be like co-leaders," he said.
"Well yeah, sure then, I guess." I smiled.
"Yayy! Welcome to the team!" He hugged me.
I haven't actually hung out with anyone else from the team except for Peach.
There were 3 other members- Rusty, River and Hope.
There was a team meeting in half an hour and I was a bit worried.
Me a leader of a team, only in PE a few times, but a leader of a team with humans who can transform into animals and fight evil!?

"Hi guys." The whole team was sitting in the common room and I was standing near them.
"It's funny how you only show up for meetings if Aster is here," Rusty joked.
Ty had missed most of their everyday meetings last week because he was with me. He only went to two, because I wanted to go with him.
Now I feel kind of guilty being here.
There is an all-clan meeting once a week where all the main clans of all three forests are here.
"Were you almost kidnapped by that sicko Bite?" Ty asked Rusty.
"No."
"Then shut it please." He said in a funny, sarcastic tone and Peach and I laughed a bit.
"So Aster will be joining the team as kind of a co-leader."
"Oh, that's awesome!" Hope said.
"Yeah, it's good to have another person here." River Said
"Well, I'm glad to be here." I smiled
"Me too." Ty smiled at me.
After a long minute of Ty just staring at me, he finally started talking.
"Um, so we know that Bite has the golden dagger and if he uses it, it's all over."
"We need everyone's help to try and find him." He said.
"Wait, but if Bite is always spotted around these forests, then that must mean that he lives somewhere nearby, right?" I said.
"Well, we don't know that for sure.... How did I ever think about that?" Ty said.
"Aster, you are a GENIUS!" He exclaimed and hugged me again.
"Well, I'm not actually a genius, but thanks." I said as he let go of me.
