Chapter 3:Big day

FIZZ! The radio blasted on leaving me shocked and strangely confused.Then 3 silent knocks on my door."WHO IS IT?"I screeched.I didnt sound mad but i was very tired and groggy."Hey bud,time to wake up,its game day."A voice responded.It was richard,Expecting my project to zoom farther than anything.I slumped over to the door and peaked it open.Richard was in his pajamas glaring down at me,also in a tired fashion.His hair was everywhere like he used too much gel to gel his hair,and his eyes had cloudy rings beneath them.Just like how i woke up.I coughed and then broke the silence."What time?'I tiredly asked him.He instantly replied,"Now."

We creeped throughout the hallways careful not too wake up anyone,for this will be a surprise.Me and richard were now completely dressed and awake with me having a rough grip on X-OP's handle.'You worried?"Richard whispered."Because you look like your'e about to wet your pants!".He tried not to giggle but let out a snicker.I just rolled my eyes."What about you?Ready to fry everyones ears out?"I joked."Oh you bet!"He cheered in a manlike way.

"Ok,The room is down there,but BE QUIET!"He told me.I looked and saw the room at the end of the hallway.I reconized this hallway,Everyones room where at this hallway,Except mine.We had to go sleuth toward the exit.Tip Toe Tip Toe. There were only a few close calls but autumn almost opened her door.Creeeeeeak.I could feel her eyes scan the hallway hoping that she wont lay her eyes on us.Then she slammed the door, and we relaxed.

We then sneaked past the last door and hit our destenation.The X-op training and creation room.It was glorious and i havent even entered the room yet!There was a medium painting of X-op lay in the bottom right corner and a dark blue sign exclaimed,X-op showing room,everyone enter now.A rush of exciteness rushed over me.This was the day were i recreate the presentation and make it offical,unlike last time.

I trailed down the staircase gaping the detail the entire room had to offer for me.Richard just smiled,basking in his own glory,in a victorious way.It seemed that as i ventured down though,the room had more detail and illuminated with color in every shade.Then i saw the rainbow.It shined viciously throughout the entire room giving an northern lights feel,that towered like an auroua.And it just continued.To vast lands of kings and queens to skyscapers that reached to the of the room.All i thought was,What an entrance.

I glanced at Richard who surprisngly,was breathless at the slideshow of beauty."Uh,Didn't know you were surprised about this.And you helped make this room!"I chuckled."Yea,But...I didn't expect it to be so glorifying.It makes you remind of home.Or what used to be our home.It still is,but its not the same. its different.Its changed."He spoke.All the memories then came back to me.The fire,the world destroyed,Fred's last goodbye.I shivered at those thoughts but i shook them off.

Richard then noticed something."Hey, dont ya have a presentation to do?"He noticed.Sure enough, I looked and a hand was motioning me to crawl to the stage.I followed the hand and Richard trailed behind. "This is apart of the presentation! "He continued."This hand will direct you to your seats.So we can get it over with right?".I laughed."You better believe it buddy."I let out a chuckle before Richard hopped on the stage. "Uh...what are y..."I began, but he did a stomping dance.

The next I witnessed was a switch power on and a computer filled desk appeared right where he stomped it."This,"He told me."Is behind everything, this is the mainframe!It controlled the display once we walked in for the effect, and it will help you in your presentation!".He typed a code and a speaker popped up on the several screens.That must've been the radio wake up call.

Beep! Beep! The computer spat.It was beginning download to access the radio.In the meantime i passed time by coming up with the speech.I realized something I should do, record the event. "Hey, uh...do you have a camcorder?"I asked Richard. He gazed at me before nodding poliety and tossed toward me."Sweeeeet."I exclaimed. I hopped down the stage and headed toward the back of the dome, grabbing a chair on the way."Hey? What're you doin?"Richard asked me."Im going to record the event."I replied."I dont care if anything goes wrong, I just to record it that's it."

I reached the back of the dome and hopped on the chair that I hpratically hauled over there.I straightened it out and found a good spot to place the cam.It was a little box concealed in the structure of the dome.I sealed it in and the red light switched on which means recording.I tested it to see if it was really worked, it did.I hopped off the chair and reached the chair, dragging it back to its position.

I took a glance at Richards computer, halfway down the procedure. There's still some time inbetween so i spent it doing brief time checks.5:45.5:56.6:00.Around 6:05 I heard a silent siren pop up from Richard's computer.Radio download complete. I rolled back and hopped over to Richard's computer.Sure enough, it was active and ready.

Now, the computer's looked different from before, instead of being on the desktop screens, there was footage of everyone in thier beds.Right when I saw everyone I exactly knew what Richard was planning.The radio call."Ok, here's the plan."He instructed." But first, let me check if you're in the area you are supposed.I have to check some things before we actually get started okay?"."Okay"I rogered back.He then flipped a switch that made a huge curtain fall in front of us,concealing us from the stage.

"This curtain will conceal us from the slideshow that everyone will see.Ill have to stay behind i can't be seen.Im causing the cool stuff remebmber?"Richard instructed."Just act like you're introducing someone to your invention.".I just nodded like a bobblehead the entire time.then Richard preeped his headset and placed it around his head.I heard him mumble something to himself."5...4...3...2...1...Standby."He whispered.

Almost instantly,the entire lab woke either surprised,confused,scared or tired.Few people scanned the room,including Autumn.Then richard made the annoucement.Everyone,follow the yellow,flashing arrows immediately.I repeat,Follow the yellow flashing arrows Immediately.

In a matter of seconds everyone did their morning ordeal and placed thier clothing on and flooded the hallway with scientists.The cameras switched to the hallway we crept down earlier.There,i found a hallway ocean.Scientists spiraled out of thier rooms and toward the Dome.I couldn't even see some of the flashing lights!Richard then flicked a lever and Instantly the slides appeared and the cameras changed once more,this time to an aerial view of the dome.

Autumn was the first to enter the dome and to see the slideshow.Like i expected,she was absoulotely speechless was the slideshow.I swear i even saw a tear or two.The others flooded in and were shocked,crying surprised,i could hear them from here.More flooded in until they found thier seats and sat in thier places.I glanced at richard,Waiting for the signal.After 2 minutes,he gave me the good luck sign.I took a giant breath in,then released it out.I began toward the curtain with X-op in hand."Here goes......"

I poked my head out the curtain and overlooked the entire audience."Uh, hi! Im andrew, the creator of something you need to see."I persuaded.I then moved foward revealing X-op to the audience. "Why? Because this, is the inventor of the future.".I slammed the button and 2 seconds later, X-op sprialed out revealing everything from inside.The vaccum, The machinery and everything that there possibly is to it.

"This is the X-op I reconstructed! Now I will show you what it can do."I told the audience while typing into the pad.Just then a person with awkwardly strange clothes whoosed from the vaccum and onto the stage and everyone gasped in surprise."It can make objects, but it can now make REAL PEOPLE."I gazed."But, you can undo.".With another pushes of button she went away in 3 snaps.

Everyone was already out of the seats cheering and clapping after I showed them that I wanted to help the future.I guess they could see that too.After the show I saw Richard typing at the laptop behind the curtain. "Good job Andrew."He told me."I could feel the energy of the crowd through the screen.".I laughed."It was nothing!"I answered. "Really! Now I need to get to chow.You comin?"I asked."I got work to do.Go without me."Richard responded.His computer flashed black and white,As I was going to leave he told me one more thing."Watch out for the future is gonna bring you.".

And It wasn't good things.

Ugh, Finally.Chapter 3! Hey guys, Chapter 3 was a doozy but I finally finished it! I accomplished it with everyone's help by looking and reading my story so thanks again guys!
