I'll Take Care Of You (Choni)

Chapter 1: Adorable

Toni's Pov:

"But mom! I don't want to"! I screamed referring to going to school.

I hated it there, I always get picked on for my stupid autism and I can't take it much longer.

I just sat there with my hands over my ears rocking back and fourth.

My mom was horrible to me, she's just so rude about everything and I feel like I can never share my feelings with her.

"Toni quit being a baby and let's go!" She shouted.

Tears streamed down my face as I slowly got up and her hand grasped around my wrist pulling me out the door.

Cheryl's Pov:

It's my first day going to riverdale high and I'm kinda nervous.

I just moved to riverdale due to a fire my parents died in.

I'm currently living with nana rose which is great because she's super nice and funny.

I was doing my hair when I heard screams next door.

"Weird" I thought as I walked to my window to see what was going on.

All I saw was someone getting drug out the house from what it looks like to be her mother.

Please don't tell me this is some sort of abuse or something.

I just sighed and walked back to my vanity to finish my hair.

I wonder if I'll make any friends today.

After I finished my hair I said goodbye to nana rose and walked out the door.

I arrived to the highschool and all the nerves started kicking in.

I slowly got out of my car and walked towards the entrance.

I took a deep breath and walked in.

Immediately I got a weird vibe.

I saw this talk redhead boy walking up to me.

"Hi I'm Archie". He greeted.

"I'm Cheryl, nice to meet you" I said politely.

He just smiled and walked away.

Strange.. this school is super weird so far.

I walked more down the hallway and all the boys including that Archie guy started whistling and blowing. I was so confused but then I saw everyone winking at me and staring a my boobs.

Wtf is going on rn.

I sprinted past all of them and went to my first class.

I sat down and to my surprise the girl that I saw this morning sat right next to me.

I just started paying attention to the teacher until someone threw a paper airplane at my head.

I sighed in annoyance and picked it up to read it.

It said "Better move from the freak before she gives you a disease"

What the hell- she seems like a nice girl I don't know what there taking about.

I just got up to throw the paper away.

When I turned back around I saw someone trip her, causing her to fall face first to the floor.

She immediately got up and ran out.

I really felt bad and asked the teacher if I could use the restroom.

I walked out and saw the girl running to the bathroom.

I followed behind her and when I reached the bathroom she was locking herself in a stall.

I heard her little sobs and I couldn't help but feel so bad.

I walked up to the stall and lightly knocked.

"Hey, my name's Cheryl, I think I'm your new neighbor" I said softly.

She just kept sobbing.

"Could you tell me your name"?

"T-toni".

"Well that's a beautiful name Toni, could you let me in?"

I heard some shuffling and then the door unlocked.

I looked at her and she immediately sat back down on the floor.

I knelt down and she scooted away a little.

"Hey it's ok I'm not gonna hurt you".

She just looked at me teary eyed.

"Can I"? I said referring to the little scratch on her cheek.

She nodded and I slowly brushed my thumb against it.

"Does this happen often"?

She nods and starts fiddling with a strand of my hair.

"Who does it"?

"Archie and his group of football players".

I sighed as she started twisting my hair.

This girl is so nice I don't know how anyone could be rude to her.

"Why would they do that"?

"Autism" she mumbled.

Wow. That's super low of them to pick on someone with autism.

"You know Toni, that doesn't change you. Your still super beautiful. You know that right"?

She nodded still twisting my hair.

I thought she was really adorable actually.

The twisting of my hair was so cute.

"Do you have any friends Toni"?

"Betty" she said.

I nodded.

"Can I meet this Betty at lunch"

She nods.

I was thinking maybe I have two new friends If lunch goes well.
