chapter 8: hanging out with cocoa.

Frisk pov.
I yawn. Man that the best sleep I had in years. Boogie still a sleep. And cocoa is already up. She must be in the kitchen. Boogie: "mmmm" Sound like boogie waking up. Boogie: "morning frisk *yawn*" I yawn again. "Morning boogie. Enjoy your sleep?" Boogie: "first normal sleep I had in a long time" I agree. "Me too. This was my first normal sleep too" no nightmares. And no waking up to killers. I got up. I grab boogie and head out into the kitchen. I see cocoa and toriel in the kitchen. "Morning everyone!" She turn around and waved. Note book: "morning from me and mom!" I smell food. I see a plate of food on the table. Looks like toriel was cooking food with cocoa help. We sat down and they join us. We ate our breakfast as we chat. Even if they are mutes. Cocoa still tells us what saying. After we finished cocoa grab my hand. Note book: "let hangout!" I nodded. "Sure cocoa. Want to join us boogie?" Boogie: "na. I'm good. I just want to stay up and here and help hangout with toriel. If she doesn't mind" toriel nodded to boogie. "Ok than. We will be back miss toriel!" I follow cocoa as we leave the house.
Boogie pov.
There she goes. Being all happy and stuff. It been awhile the last time I seen happiness like that. Been on the run and stuff. But this is a nice change. "It been sometime captain. You been doing well" as always she silent. But I can feel her aura. That aura of being a captain. It terrifieing. "I'm not going to hurt chara. Hell asriel would be the first to kill me if I did anyway" she made space for me to dry the dishes. "Frisk is something let me tell you. She bright. Smiling. She reminds me of someone many years ago. I can't stop but smile when she smiles at me. It been awhile since this underground had anything like that" still silent. I'm alright right with that. Frisk can help chara too. She can help her with her problems too if needed. Even if I only knew frisk for two days. It feels like I known her for years" I started smiling. "I never had a friend that was this nice in all my life. I only hope she can stay" toriel smiled. "I know you know that feeling. When asriel showed you chara. You saw a girl that need a mother love. And you accepted it" she smiled at the thought. I can read body language. I continue to dry more dishes. "Well. There no need to make our self sound like enemys. Now on. Let just enjoy this feeling of not hunting" I see her nodded. This maybe the first time we talked. I guess running was good for something. U wonder what frisk and cocoa are up too.
Frisk pov.
I'm following cocoa who is holding my hand. This is new. She has anxiety and would never want to even touch me. I guess she warm up to me. I really do hope we become friends. She just so cute!! We walked past part of this places waterfalls. I wonder where cocoa is taking me. We got to a dark area. Cocoa touch a crystal as it light up the area. Note book: "follow me. Don't fall behind" I nodded. I followed cocoa. It started getting darker. She touch another crystal. I stop infront of one. As it got dark. I touched it again to make it lighter. I keep touching it because it was fun. I don't know why. I feel a rock hit me. I see cocoa waitting for me. I ran over to her. She entered a place. I enter with her. It like moving in a big bush. I got to the otherside. I than see the most beautiful waterfall. Amazing. I watched as cocoa goes and sit down. I sit down next to her. She started drawing. I think I should get to know her. "So. What your favorite color? Food? What do you do when your bored?" She continue drawing. I wouldn't want to distract her from her drawing. I sat there just looking at the water. It beautiful. I remember dreaming about seeing the sea. Hearing the waves. The sound of the seagulls The wind against my hair. The feeling of sand on my feet. It was my dream to go there. Because no matter what. It was peaceful. So peaceful. I got up and took off my clothes. I jump into the water. The feeling of cold water against me. It feels. Cool. I allow my self to float. I than open my eyes to see cocoa staring at me. I freaked the fuck out. "*scream*" I started trying to stop my self from falling under water. "Cocoa! I forgot you were there! My bad!" I bump my head into hers. "Ow! Sorry!" I check to see if she ok. But looks like she was chuckling. That weird. I bump my head into hers. Why is she laughing. Note book: "your so clumsy!" I chuckled. She got me there. I lean against the side as she sit on near the water. "Sorry if it came out of the blue when I took off my clothes. I just. Really wanted to swim" note book: "I can see that. You just took it off and jump in. Like everything around you disappeared or something" yeah. It did. I just. Wanted to jump in here. And just swim. Note book: "by the way. I notice the scars on you" what!? Oh no! I forgot all about them. I lower my self in the water. "Um! What scars!" I try to act like I didn't know what she was talking about. Note book: "frisk. I know what a scar looks like. But you have more than your supposed too" I sigh. I got out of that water and sit down. She looked away. "These scars. Came from My many years of pain. Many years of being someone bitch" she looked at Me. I than begin my story. "I was around 9 or 8. I forgot what age I was when I got back from school. I walked into my house all happy and everything. Than I see this boy who was with these other guys. And my family there. This boy walked up to me. He was older than me. Maybe 15. I was told that I am his now. I didn't understand until my parents told me that they have alot of debts. So that sold me. I was. Broken. My own parents. Sold me to pay off all there debts. I was than forced into a car. I ended up going to his place. And lived the rest of my life. Being with him. There were other girls there and since I was the youngest. There all took the time to look after me. I didn't understand why. As years came by I ended up doing more things than they were. These things. Are hard for me to say. Because they were nothing but pain. If I did anything bad. I would get whipped over and over again. That what this one and this one were. They never stop hitting the same area. This one and this one here was from the guy knife. He would slowly do cuts on me. To show I'm his. I hated it. I had to walk with this for a long time" I than started telling her all the other ones. Every since scar on my body. I guess I never been open with it. "And this one was from a girl that try to kill me. One that. I had feelings for" cocoa was listening. She made sure to listen. "Me and her were the only girls there and she didn't understand why I was treated nicely. Let me tell you. I wasn't. I was treated the same way. But she try to kill me. I wished I die that day. I miss her. She and I would make sure that we didn't lose fate. But she did. And she pay for it" i nearly shed a tear. "I was able to escape from him and I went on a run for 4 years. I was able to get a good job and meet nice people. I just wished I didn't tell them about me. Now. This place is the only safe heaven I could find. Just wish I could stay here without getting people in trouble" man. My life sucks. Note book: "we all can't figure out how our life goes. But we can Believe that there is a future. All we can do is live towards it and focus on what happens now. Something asriel tells me. I always believe it. Maybe you should too" maybe she right. Things could be different now. "I really want to be your friend cocoa. I lost alot of mine. If befriending someone that been though pain and suffering. I would try in everyway to help you. But ill wait until you want to be friends. I'll never force you. I'll wait until you say so" it than went silent. I can feel the wet water in my hair dipping water down me. The wind blows a calm breeze. I'm glad we came here. I than feel her hand on mine. She didn't look but I think she blushing. I hold her hand as I lookd forwards. Watching the water coming down the waterfall.

Liquid: "done and peace!"
