Summary: Loki settled on Earth with Thor after Asgard was destroyed. He resides in a small home on the outskirts of New York by himself. His attack on Earth left most weary of the God of Mischief, despite his best efforts to finally put his old ways behind him. Except for you, his loud, over the top, annoying neighbor who just so happens to be his only friend and maybe a little more?

Loki woke up to the sun beaming in on his eyes, and the sound of what he has come to know as a "lawn mower" going at full force. He sighed loudly and placed a spell on his room to block out the excess noise and then rolled out of bed to close the curtains. He could have closed them with his magic as well but he wanted to see the culprit for himself, and just as he thought it was you.

You were pushing the contraption with a fair amount of effort, the grass had gotten pretty tall. You were wearing a pair of biker shorts with a cropped tank top and rubber boots, with your hair pulled back in a ponytail. Loki could see the sweat pouring down from your forehead from his window, your face was flushed from the heat, your clothes sticking very tightly to your body.

Loki couldn't help but admire the shape of your body in those clingy clothes, he had been having quite a few of those admiring thoughts lately, some even keeping him up at night until he finally relieve himself with you in his mind. But despite that, he just continued to push them to the back of his mind. It was moments like this when he was awoken at the peak of dawn thanks to your antics that made all other thoughts of desire be squashed.

Loki finally shut the curtains and crawled back into bed, hoping to get a few more hours of sleep before starting his day. He's lived next to you for several months now and he swears it's the universes way of continuing to punish him for his past. You were loud, you didn't know the definition of personal space, you literally forced friendship on him when he just wants to live in solitude.

But, he couldn't deny the little tingle in his heart when you laughed hard at a joke and you were really the only person who even wanted anything to do with him. Most midgardians looked the other way when they saw him, but you, you've opened your arms and forced him into them. Loki would never admit if you were no longer around he would miss your presence.

Just as he calmed his mind and was about to fall back to sleep, he heard a loud knock on his door. He groaned loudly and threw his pillow across the room in frustration as he raised up, it could only be one person and he wondered what you could possibly want at this early hour. He pulled on a shirt quickly and made his way to the door.

He opened the door to none other than you, appearance even more disheveled up close but those tight clothes outlined the curve of your body perfectly. Loki quickly shook out of his trance of admiring your body and met your gaze, you gave him a warm smile.

"Good morning Loki, I'm sorry if I woke you but I was mowing my lawn and I noticed yours was getting a little overgrown as well and I wanted to see if you'd like to me cut yours as well." You asked him, smile never faltering once. He peaked around you at his own yard, he ever so missed the days in the palace when something like the problems of lawn care would never have been a thought he had.

"No need to tire yourself even more, I can take care of it myself." Loki responded and with that and a snap of his fingers the lawn was transformed to what appeared to be perfectly cut grass and hedges. You just gawked at him for a moment before blinking a few times. "Are you kidding my right now?! If I knew you could do that I wouldn't have been here at the ass crack of dawn busting it with that damned mower! Why didn't you tell me?" You were practically yelling and Loki wanted to muzzle you for your loudness at this hour.
