The Potters Real Backstory

Harry's POV:

"Yes it is and it's called insomnia Granger not drained." A sour voice stated.

"Well Im sorry you have to go through that." My love stated.

"Yea, yea! So do you guys wanna hear the truth?" Avery asked quietly. "Of course we do! So why do you struggle with insomnia?" Ron asked quickly.

Avery's POV:

"No! Not that truth!" I said  loudly. "Then what truth?" Hermione asked curiously.

"The truth about me and Harry's parents." I stated a flat tone overpowering my voice.

"Really?" Harry whispered excitement taking over his voice. "Sure, I think it's time you learned why I hate them." I said seriously.

"When I was born everyone was excited, and after you were born people thought our family was complete until we had to go into hiding. Once we were in hiding there was no more people around which none of us really minded. The night before Voldemort Mu- Lily and James left for a super secret vacation, and two people who looked like them showed up...

Then the night Voldemort came he killed those two randoms and left me to die. When he "died" trying to kill you Snape showed up and he cried over Lily until Hagrid came and took us away." I said the last part barely audible.

"Really?!?!" Harry asked astonished. "All I remember is a flash of green light!" He said immensely.

"Oh yeah! There was more than one green flash of light!" I said with a laugh.

"We'll is that everything?" Asked Granger.

"There's more but I'll have to tell you later got to go see ya!" I said turning and sprinting away.

I heard them whispering behind me, but I didn't dare turn around.

I turned a corner and ran face first into someone. "Hey watch where you're going." The voice said in a joking tone. "Oh shut up Theodore!" I said laughing.

"I was coming to tell you the plan is complete!" He said gleefully.

"Really Theo that's amazing! So when are we putting it into action?" I asked excitedly. "I'd say around Christmas." He said with just as much excitement.

"Perfect! There'll be so much rubbish she'll fit right in!" I said and we both laughed.

As we walked back the common room I knew for the first time I was going to definitely get some sleep.

Hermione's POV:

"Why do you think she waited 5 years to tell you that?" I asked curiously as Avery sprinted away.

"I don't know... but at least she told us right?" Harry asked positively.

"Harry!" Someone screamed as they ran towards us. "Shit." I muttered under my breath as the person came into view. Cho.

Ron elbowed me in the rib. "Owwww!" I said defensively.

1 Week Earlier

Ron's POV:

"OK WELL THEN MAYBE WE SHOULD BREAK UP!" Harry screamed at Hermione.

They were both crying. Lavender was in my arms turned away from the scene. Harry and Hermione had been fighting a lot recently and this one had been the worst yet.

"MAYBE WE SHOULD!" Hermione screamed back tears streaming down her face.

"Do you wanna break up..." Harry asked quietly as tears poured from his eyes. "Do you?" Hermione asked in the same tone.

"Maybe that's for the best..." Harry said doubtfully. "Yea..." Hermione said in a high pitch voice before running off in tears.

Present Day

Hermione's POV:

"I just think it's a little cruel for him to run off and date someone else a week after we broke up!" I said a little louder than I intended.

Cho walked up and kissed him. Eughh. "Hey baby!" She said cheerfully as she watched my face.

I just stuck my tongue out at her. And she glared right back.

At that very moment the bell rang. "Sorry babe I got to go! See you at dinner." Cho said walking away carelessly.

"Y'know Harry I think you should start your own little club to teach kids the real way to protect themselves in the real world." I said honestly.

"I don't know lov- Hermione!" He said quickly saving himself.

"I'd join if you made it." Avery said quietly. "Ok then that settles it!" I said. "Ok fine." Harry said giving up.

A few months later: November

Harry's POV:

"Yea me and Cho broke up..." I said sadly. "Oh that's awful Harry!" Hermione said hugging me.

Suddenly I kissed her. And she kissed me back! The next few minutes were a blur.

The next thing I knew we were up in my dormitory with the door locked. Then her shirt was off same with mine. Then we were both naked in each other's presence for the first time ever.

A little while later, neither of us were really aware of the time. We just stopped and lay next to each other. "That was amazing Harry!" She said after a little while. "Yea! Best thing I could've imagined for my first time!" I agreed. "Same here!" She said starting to kiss me again.

We eventually fell asleep together in my bed. The next morning we woke up extra early and she snuck out. We had to hurry to get up because it was Saturday so it was quidditch and Slytherin was playing Ravenclaw today and I was really excited to see Avery play. She was just as good as me if not better since we both have James Potters blood coursing through our veins.

All the boys came in all of the sudden. "Woah someone got down last night!" Ron said coming in.

I just groaned. "So who's the lucky lady?" Dean asked.

"I did not get down last night!" I said defensively. "Then why was the door locked?" Seamus asked acting as if he had cracked the case.

"I was busy studying and I didn't want to be interrupted!" I said defensively again. "Then why did I see Hermione sneak out of here a little while ago!" Ron said triumphantly.

"Ooooooo" All the guys said sarcastically. "We were studying together last night and she fell asleep! So we snuck her out this morning so the girls wouldn't think anything different about her!" I said loudly defending the both of us.

"Oh..." Neville said trailing off. "Stop lying we heard you guys last night!" Ron said loudly.

"Fine last night it just kinda happened between the two of us." I said flatly.

"So are you back together?!?!" Ron asked expectantly.

"No! I mean I don't know! Ok I didn't really have the chance to talk to her about it before she left!" I said loudly.
