Hey there! It's been a long time, has it not?
Unfortunately, I am discontinuing this fan fiction, as I have completely distanced myself from this fandom. Nothing bad has happened, I just have pursued new interests and left Markipler and Jacksepticeye behind. These two have created a lot of joy for me over the years, and I'm sure they have brought joy to all of you out there as well. I don't want to leave you all hanging with an uncompleted story, so I'm going to give a briefing on what I had planned for this fan fiction.
As you know from the past few chapters, Jack has had weird pains that come and go whenever Mark is around, as well as that voice in Chapter 3. I had it planned out that Mark and Jack are connected through a "bond" of sorts - a centuries old bond that originates around the same time Werewolves were created. You always have to have a yin to a yang, right? That is these two. Mark is a Werewolf, Jack is a Werewolf Hunter. Werewolf Hunters are a human subspecies that regulate Werewolves, killing them off so that none remain. These guys have abnormal senses, higher than your average human. Their sense of hearing rivals that of a Werewolf, with ears curved outward, sort of like an elf. It takes quite a lot to kill them, not even a slit throat would take one down. However, Werewolf Hunters went extinct, or so everyone thought. Jack is a long-lost decadent of the Werewolf Hunters, specifically crafted by nature to be the best at archery and swordplay - skills needed to kill such ferocious beasts. And that "voice" of his? That's the past calling, the past that remains inside of Jack, waiting to be released once again after years of shadow. I guess you could call that part of Jack, "Antispeticeye". Hehe...
Getting rid of the dramatic summary, I planned that the pack would start teaching Jack how to defend himself, due to the rapidly evolving murder mystery, using bow and arrows and knifes, learning mostly from Midnight since she's the most connected to human society. Throughout these crusades, Jack would start finding clues about the werewolf pack, the clues becoming bigger and bigger until the pieces all snapped into place. Though, his relationship with the guys would be solid enough to not break them apart, but just lose a little trust in them for leaving him out on such important information. Of course, through all of this, Mark and Jack would be getting closer.
Eventually, Mark and Jack get into a heated argument after an investigation, Jack armed with his bow and arrows - that he learned to use very quickly - and Mark armed with his teeth and claws. They're both angry, Mark grabs Jack's wrist violently, but something inside of Jack snaps, and he throws Mark back and fires an arrow straight into Mark's shoulder. Mark convulses inwards, something about this arrow isn't right. Whatever this arrow is, it's like rabies just rapidly takes over Mark, he shifts into a Werewolf, unwillingly, white foam drippling out of his mouth in waves, his eyes almost popping out of his sockets. Jack obviously freezes in terror, he did not mean to hurt his friend. Something raw came over him, he couldn't control himself. Mark's pack protects Mark, immediately becoming aggressive with Jack for harming their Alpha. The pack takes Mark inside Midnight's cabin, while Felix remains outside. Jack is still just frozen there while Felix screams at him, head low and looking at the ground eyes wide. (If you can tell, I spent most of my planning on this part lol) Felix, enraged with what Jack had done, as well as the fact that Jack is just ignoring him, he throws a nasty punch to Jack's face, along with a scratch or two along his sides. Jack doesn't do anything to stop him, he feels that he deserves that after what he did to Mark. Felix realizes what he's doing and stops, but he doesn't apologize. He just leaves as Jack lays upon the forest floor, wounds bleeding.
Jack doesn't move around much anymore, he's still both in shock, as well as feeling hella guilty for what happened. No one acknowledges him. Mark is constantly being cared for as his condition goes through a cycle of worse then better, better then worse. His illness does start fading, like a poison that was excreted out of his system. Though, the illness leaves him weak, and vulnerable. Mark has had plenty of time to think, recovering from his illness. While still mad at Jack, thinking that he tried to kill him, he believes - hopes - that Jack had just been overcome with anger and made an irrational decision. He had to, right? They were so close. He wouldn't do that without being under a lot of pressure, right? He was his friend.
Anyway, Jack would make the decision to leave, under the impression that he might hurt Mark again, or even worse, kill him. The voice that haunts him is even louder now, and he no longer trusts himself. He would leave under the cover of night, the time when everyone was asleep, everyone but Mark who lies awake in thought. Mark would follow Jack outside until he realizes that Jack is leaving and call out to him. Jack would freeze, hoping that Mark would get annoyed and leave him alone. He doesn't however, as Mark begs Jack to stay. Jack is surprised, he thought that Mark would hate him after what he did - but that doesn't change his mind. Mark's pleas grow louder until everyone in the house wakes up, rushing outside to see Jack facing the woods, his back to Mark. As more people gather outside of the house, the voice in Jack's head grows louder and louder, so monstrously loud that not a single word can be made out. Jack stands frozen in place as Mark and a couple others apologize and tell him to stay. Jack would leave, but he can't. It's like an ice cube formed around his legs, trapping him in place. The sounds of the outside world fade out as he hears the next few words that he'll hear in a long time.
"If you won't kill him, I̵̢̠̞͔̐͋̎̇̂ ̴̨̣̥̊̓W̴͕̓Ï̷̡͕̖͈̉L̵̢̼̟̝̎͌̓L̴͙̙̘͉͉̆̽̑̑͝"
Y'all can use your imaginations for the next part; if Jack and Mark defy the odds and end a centuries old war with whatever they got going on, or be ripped apart for history to repeat itself is your choice. It's up to you to decide their fates. :)
Originally I was going to rip the two apart as I got them really close because I'm a friggin' sadist, but I thought I'd be nice and let you guys finish the story yourselves, individually. I always hated seeing a story discontinued without an explanation for what was planed. I'm not that creative when it comes with something I'm interested in lol.
Anyway, I'm really sorry that I never finished this, I don't really have an excuse to explain why I was gone for so long without even a word. Laziness is one hell of a bitch, along with procrastination. Have fun out there, and stay safe!
