The weekend went away just like that.
Leaving me all confused, although I do remember parts of my childhood, I just couldn't recognize him.
I did not think that he, would turn out to be my childhood best friend which is so wierd.
The awkwardness is reallll.

Sighing, I took my hair brush from my dressing table and started combing my hair.
The weekend is gone and the school is here to take away all my peace, yet again.
I really am hoping not to encounter Aahil today.

But again, One can only wish.

And that jer---

Um! Well.

He isn't that big of a jerk now, is he?

I'm already playing the lawyer for him in my head, great.
Bias much?

I need to stop wasting my time thinking about all this and utilize whatever time I have got on my hands.

Doing all my morning rituals,
I just got off to school a little early to clear my head.
I went up straight to the library and just sat down with my homework.

With all the chaos at home, I could hardly get any work done.

I set an alarm and just hit the work needed to be done.

I successfully kicked algebra's ass and got done with my math
homework.
Alhamdulillah.

I was so focused, that my eyes started hurting.
I check my watch, An hour has passed by, I Still have some time before the class, so I might just take some rest.

With that I lied my head down on the rustic wooden table and closed my eyes to take a nap.

But the world is so cruel,
They just DO NOT let you do anything peacefully.

"SARAHHHHH!" A familiar voice ringing in my ears.

She barges through the library doors and starts running towards me.

"Yes Nays?!" I reply, my voice barely audible.

"Girl I have been finding you everywhere and you're here?"

"Yeah, the weekend was quite busy, I couldn't get my work done, so here I am."

I answered her, yawning.

"What happened babe, You look so tired."

"Yeah, I couldn't sleep much last night.

Some things are bothering me, I will tell you later, I think we're getting late for the class."

"Umm...okay!"
She shrugged away.

Sometimes things become so complicated in a person's life, that it exhausts them mentally, rather than physically.
And mental exhaustion is more tough to bear than physical exhaustion.

Where physical exhaustion can be wiped away by taking rest and sleeping. Mental exhaustion needs extra work and care to bring it to your optimum state of mind.

I walked down the hallway, making my way towards the classroom, Nays chatting by my side, and my mind just doing a whole thesis on "Exhaustion".

I open the door of the classroom and sit in the middle row, Something about front benches intimidates me,
The teacher keeps looking and then I cannot concentrate on the class.

Nays takes her seat beside me rambling something, how is she so energetic in the morning, I just can't.

"Nays? How are you so energetic today?"

"I'm energetic as always, you're dull today babe. The energy is not matching."
She says doing dramatic eye movements.

I just roll my eyes and get back to my notes.

"Hey Bestie!"

I hear someone say and
a hand waving, literally in my face, belonging to none other than Aahil.
My heart starts beating fast for some reason.

"Hello." I reply,
Pretty plainly to his enthusiastic one.
He gets a little taken aback.

"Bestie, who bestie?" Nays practically scares him from my side.

"Your bestie, but my bestie from the beginning" He says trying to trigger her.

"What is he saying sarah?" And she gets triggered.

"Ahh! You guys, stop arguing, nays we'll talk about this later? Please."

I massage my temples trying to calm down my sudden headache.

"What happened?"
Both ask in unison and start glaring at each other, I hold my head in my hands not knowing what to do.
