10. The uninvited guest.

The leaves on the tree's were turning yellow and different shades of it, while some of them showering on the ground. It's beautiful.
I have always found myself getting lost in the beauty of nature, it's perfection had always made me spellbound. It's intricacy, its uniqueness compels you to think.. How?

"Sarah!", Get down dear you're getting late.

"Coming!"

I've got so much to get done, Ya allah help me get through. I prayed internally.

"MALLIIIKKKK"

I halt,
There she comes.....

"Assalamalaikum, why so fast..."
She asks panting,

"Walaikumassalam, not my fault that you're slow." We keep walking in the hallway.

"It looks like you're running a marathon seriously."

"You're exaggerating nays!"

"Whatever, Hey can we go somewhere? After school, it's been so long malik."

"Nays, you know how much needs to get done, we'll see about it le..h.."

"Hey guys !" A voice interrupts me.

Oh Allah, I face palm myself mentally thinking about how he's gonna eat my brains now.

"Hiii" Nays replies eyeing me.

I roll my eyes and reply "Hello".

"Care to explain cause for your presence?" I ask briskly.

"Well miss malik, since I'm new here, I keep on loosing the track...

He kept blabbering...

Nays giving me that "How does he know your sirname" look...!

"Cut the crap and just say what do you want?"

What's the hurry miss clumpsy?

He says in a tone which is so annoying...

"I don't like my time being wasted so you better hurry up otherwise I'm getting late."
I say glancing at my watch.

"Since you like helping me, Can I do you a favour and have your biology notes."

Is he out of his senses.

"Are you alright, do you need some medical help?"

I ask with a serious look on my face.

"Chill, I'm kidding, Can I have your biology notes?."

Probably he sensed the seriousness in my voice.

I glare at him, but help him anyways since he had a puppy face all this while.

"Here...." I say handing my book.

"Thanks, miss nerdy." He replies and jogs off.

"Have you ever met him somewhere before?"

"I don't think nays, but it feels like so."

"Well, it looks so too, I mean, I know its been some time you two have met and he annoys you and all of that, but they way you guys interact, is no where close to how strangers do."

Really? I did not care to notice that much, Nays is so keen at noticing these little things.

"I don't know." I say with a confused state of mind.

"Anyways, I gotta go nays, I have tons of work to get done and please can we postpone this plan for some other day?" I say, Apologizing to her with my facial expressions.
