Important Mission

Gojo POV

I open my eyes and rub them. I yawn and stretch my long limbs out as far as they can go. I put my sunglasses on and slide out of bed. I walk to my bathroom and get all ready for the day. I then walk into the kitchen and my phone vibrates. I look at it to see Suguru texting me. I smile a bit but then rush out of my dorm room.
"Crap! Of course I'm late on the day of the most important mission!!" I scold myself as i run down the hallway. I wasn't paying attention and i slam into a poor first year. We both fall backwards. I get up fast and help him. "Sorry man!" I say and continue running towards the classroom. I reach the door but it's thrown open right as i get in front of it. "OW!" I yelp as it hits me square in the face. I stumble backwards a bit and my sunglasses fall to the floor and I shut my eyes tight. I hold my nose.
"Oh my god, Satoru are you ok?!" I hear a deep calming voice say and i feel a hand on my shoulder.
"Ouch.." i say and i move my hand off my nose and it feels strangely warm.
"Oh Ru, you're bleeding. Come with me, I'll clean you up quickly." My boyfriend says and he puts an arm around my waist and leads me to what must be the bathroom. He lifts me up a bit and sets me on the counter and he dabs a wet cloth on my nose. I open my eyes to look at him. His beautiful face is still calm as always, but a hint of worry can be seen in his deep brown eyes. His silky black hair is tied back in a loose bun, like always, with his usually loose bangs pushed behind his ear so they don't get in the way. He then looks at me and warmth runs through my long body. He smiles kindly at me. "There. All done." He says with no overwhelming questions of why i got hit or why i wasn't paying attention or why i was late or why i didn't have infinity on, he's just calm and happy I'm ok. I smile and lean in and kiss him. He returns the kiss and helps me down. "Let's go. We have to get going soon or Yaga might kill us." He says with a small laugh. I close my eyes tightly and put my hand on his shoulder to keep me steady as i feel suddenly unbearably dizzy. "Oh shoot. I'm sorry Ru, i should've given you these before." He says and slides my glasses onto my face. I shake my head a bit and smile at him.
"Thanks Suguru!! You're the greatest boyfriend ever!! I love you!" I say and kiss the tip of his nose. He smiles kindly at me and we walk out of the bathroom and down the hall to the classroom. My stomach growls loudly as we sit in our desks. My face heats up in embarrassment and i hide my face in my arms on the desk. I hear a quiet deep laugh next to me.
"Finally! You decided to join us Gojo." Yaga's voice says bugged from the front. I look up at him and smirk as i lean back in my chair.
"Meh, it's just whatever. I knew you'd need me and my schedule wasn't too packed today" i say and shrug. Yaga scoffs and rolls his eyes.
"Whatever. You guys know the location. Go now. Times running out." He snaps at us and i stand up. I reach my arms towards the ceiling and stretch them a bit before walking out and Suguru follows.
"Man i don't wanna be here. I could be in my bed right now but nope. I gotta be here. Doing this stupid thing." I say and dramatically throw my arms around.
"Satoru it's fine. It won't take too long because you're-"
"We're the strongest. I know." I say and wink at him. He smiles at me and intertwines our fingers as we walk out of the school and into the chilly fall air. I glance at him and he's looking to the side as we walk. My face heats up and i smile as i watch him just peacefully minding his own business. My kind smile turns into a smirk and i take off running, still holding onto his hand, i drag him behind me and continue charging forward. I hear him gasp and i look behind me to see him catching up to me, his hair bouncing a bit as he runs. I look forward and use my long legs to push myself further. I laugh as the strong hand that's intertwined with mine slowly slips away. "Oh come on Suguru!! You're not really gunna let me beat you right!!!???" I say loudly as i keep pushing myself forward. My glasses keep hitting the bridge of my nose with every step but i keep going. I hear footsteps behind me and a small laugh. We race towards the mission location. Down the street, over a few grassy hills, and finally down a long flowery field to the edge of a cliff with a large abandoned building at the bottom. I look back to see Geto still chasing me. "Wow!! Can't believe you could keep up with me!!! I've got tons of energy! Surprised you could run this long!" I yell to him, sorta out of breath. He looks at me and i see him roll his eyes.
"Oh shut up. That wasn't too hard. You're just too cocky." He responds. I shake my head and race full speed towards the edge of the cliff. I hear the footsteps behind me as i keep running. I jump off of the cliff and stretch my arms out far. I close my eyes and take in the cold air and the warm sun shining on me. I breathe out hard as exhaustion hits me from the long run here. My hair floats up along with my glasses as my body starts to fall towards the ground from the tall cliff. I hear the wind rush past my ears as i fall. I grab onto my glasses and lean backwards so I'm falling a bit faster. I feel a harsh gust of air past me and a low growl. I giggle and look next to me to see Geto's big rainbow dragon diving towards the bottom. I smile wide and close my eyes as i fall, my face can feel the sun shine on it but the cold air and the air rushing past me sends a chill down my spine. I can sense the floor right under me but i don't worry at all. I land bridal style in my boyfriends strong arms.
"Hello cutie." He says with a quiet laugh and he spins me around once while kissing my forehead and then he lets go and i stand up.
"Right! Let's see what we've got cookin' here!!" I say and slide on my glasses and then shove my hands in my pockets. I walk forward towards the rubble and Suguru follows me, we walk side by side. I look around, taking in every detail of the building around us, as we walk. Suddenly the ground shakes and a giant ugly mushy monster mess climbs out from under the ground. I watch it as it crawls on all its hundred legs towards us. I sigh. "Man. What a waste. I was told this was an important mission! This is so easy! It's not even special grade!!" I complain.
"At least we got to get out of the school for once." Suguru says calmly.
"Ughhhhhh!!!! This is so dumb!! They just wanted to get us out of their way for once!!! I could've been sleeping right now!! Man! Those higher ups are so selfish!!" I say and throw my arms around and stumble. I roll my eyes and face the curse and flick my hand and it explodes into tons of pieces. I slump down onto the floor and cross my arms over my chest and pout. My stomach suddenly decides to make the loudest sound possible and i lay on my back on the dirty floor. I groan and close my eyes. Suddenly my stomach and ribs are poked and i laugh. "Suguruuuuu stoooooppppp!!" I say in between laughs as he continues to tickle me.
"Get up you lazy baby. Let's go out for lunch. You're hungry." Geto says and helps me up.
"Oki!!" I say and my whole mood changes. I smile at the long haired boy and he reaches for my hand to hold it. Just before he can intertwine our fingers, the ground below us cracks open and i fall through a deep ravine. My whole world goes dark and the air is freezing and i feel myself falling. I blink a few times to try to make out at least some of the falling world around me. I hear a loud roar from above me but it sounds muffled. {Wait...the hole i just came from is gone!!} I notice the source of the complete darkness is from the sunlight being blocked out completely. I try again to see or sense my surroundings but i can't. I go to clap my hands together to use a technique to slow down my fall but i hit my hand on a rock and i can hear the bones in it snap. I yelp in pain and try to flip myself around so at least i don't land on my back but everything is so dark and I'm falling so fast that i don't know what way I'm facing anymore and what way I'm falling. Suddenly the world doesn't feel like it's rushing past me anymore. Suddenly i feel nothing. And then. I feel pain. I feel so much pain. I feel myself not being able to breathe. I feel my back against the ground. I feel my hand throbbing in agony. I feel liquid on my back and staining my uniform. I feel hot even in the freezing darkness. I open my mouth and gasp for breath but nothing comes. I try to move but i can only move my arms and inch my legs to the side. Salty fat tears escape from my eyes. I gasp loudly. And a scream escapes from my mouth. I reach my arms up and scream loudly for the one person that i want here with me.
