Chapter 8 {Part 2}

BACK TO SULLYOON'S POV

"Is your sister up yet?" I ask. Yoona stared at the back seat. Both of them are still snoring, embracing each other. Lily is resting her head on Haewon's chest while Haewon wraps her arms around Lily's hair.  

A sudden wind blows through the open window. Lily shivers at the sudden temperature change and buries her head deeper into Haewon's shoulder. Haewon lazily opens her eyes and drapes her arms around Lily's body, keeping her warm. You want to give me diabetes huh (that is so cute **cries**)

The occasional static noises on the radio suddenly stop. Haewon sluggishly opens her eyes, sitting up with the support of her elbow. "What happened to the radio?" she asks, rubbing at her eyes. I shrug. "I don't know. Yoona's trying to fix it though." 

Yoona bangs her fist on the radio. A deafening ring echoes around the van, waking Lily up. "a sudden- attacking Jeju- safe- " the radio buzzes before returning to its static state. Yoona punches the radio once again. "guys, I think something is attacking Korea" thanks, miss obvious

Haewon turns on her phone, checking the news. "uhhh, I'm not smart, what's a velociraptor ?" I choke on my saliva. "What does a dinosaur have to do with our current situation?" 

Haewon shakes her head. "I said velociraptor, not a dinosaur." I scowl. That's a dinosaur, dummy 

"A velociraptor IS a dinosaur, bonehead." Yoona explains. Thank God my gorgeous girlfriend is here to back me up. 

"no, it's not. A velociraptor is a velociraptor. A dinosaur is like a stegosaurus, you know." Haewon clarifies. Lily, you're dating a tall preschooler. 

"My God, guess I'm really dating a preschooler..." Lily drags her palm across her face in disappointment.

"Now tell me, what is a velociraptor?" Haewon demands. 

Lily puts her hand on Haewon's shoulder. "they're the same thing, honey. Velociraptor and dinosaur." Haewon nods. "You two are bozos. Lily says they're the same thing. Since when are they different species?" 

I'm about to beat this bitch up. I curled my fingers into a fist. Yoona puts her hand over mine. She shakes her head. "My sister is like that. Let her be." 

"Now tell us, what does that have to do with the attack?" Yoona crosses her arms. 

"So basically, few of the velociraptors from Korea's National Dinosaur Containment Chamber (KNDCC) escaped. Somehow."  Haewon explains. I quickly grab a duffel bag and stuff some stuff inside. How are they so calm? This isn't Jurassic Park.  (stuff some stuff indeed)

"Don't worry though! They're still tracking the velocity- I mean velociraptor. Last time they checked, it's heading north." my heart drops. We are in the North.  

"BITCHES, WE GOTTA GO! THIS DOCK WE'RE IN IS IN THE NORTH!" Yoona shouts. Glad to have a smart girlfriend. She grabs the steering wheel and begins driving.

After exiting the ferry Dock, someone taps the driver's seat. Haewon.

"What about mom?" Haewon chimes in from the back seat. Yoona stills for a while before drifting the van. Poor wheel.  

 I hold onto the handle on top of the door for my safety. I turn my head back to see lily's face smushed towards the window. Haewon grabs onto one of Lily's arms, although it doesn't help her situation at all. (Not me laughing at this for the past 5 minutes) 

I see auntie walking out of the tent groggily. "Babe, slow down the van!"

[a very dramatic rescue, ft. Auntie]

This stunt is done while the car is still moving at a fast speed. Only Sullyoon can pull off this stunt. 

A few moments before the car arrives in front of auntie, I epically open the door and grab onto auntie's thicc ass orange sweater and drag her into the van before I close the door.  

[rescue ends] (Not me laughing at this for another 5 minutes 🙄)
