Chapter 3: A dinner with the Aftons

I wake up to someone slightly shaking me.as i slowly open my eyes i see a little girl with ginger hair green eyes in a dress,a bow in her hair. Behind her is an older boy who is holding a plushie. The boy has brown hair, icy blue eyes, dark gray shirt with light gray stripes on it, and shorts.
"Goodmorning miss! My daddy told me to wake you up for dinner!" The little girl says with a wide smile on her face. "Im Elizabeth and behind me is CC(Chris)!"she says. "Nice to meet you guys, im Y/n L/n." I say with a smile. Elizabeth rans dowstairs while the boy comes a little closer and says "i can show you around if that okay with you?" The boy says shyly."of course that would be nice" i say with a warm smile. He brings me downstairs to the kitchen."oh i see yoir awake darling, how did you sleep?" William asks with his tired voice. "It was fine" i say with confidence. Another boy around the age of 12 sits in front of the table waiting for food. He looks very injured. He has bandages around his wrist, leg, neck and head. "Go sit down anywhere you want" william says calmly. I sit next to the boy who is injured. When dinner was done william set the plates down in front of everybody and started eating. There was silence. I decided to break it. "So these are you children William?" I ask, starting a conversation. "Yes, they are" "Did they introduce themselfs?" He asks curious."well, Elizabeth and CC(Chris) did." I answer truthfully. "Im Michael Terrence Afton, nice to meet you miss." The oldest boy says. "Nice to meet you Michael, im y/n l/n" i say. William slightly smiled at this. After we were done with the food i putted my plate in the sink, the others also did. I noticed that Michael also uses crunches. I got kind of curious and went over to william to ask him about his son. "Hey william, umm" i start but pause trying not to sound rude. He hums. "I don't want to sound rude but what happened to Michael if i may ask?" I ask. Williams expression went from calm to sad. "Well...2 of his friends lured him to the forest to play but he didn't think about that they could hurt him...one of his friend Alex had a knife and stabbed him more then 20 times. The other person Ethan just watched. After that they both ran away and left Michael to die there. But Michael didn't give up and started to crawl back to this house. After he made it he opened the door and i saw him bleeding and i called 911. Michael passed out." William says sadly."oh my god...im sorry for asking william i didn't think this could ever happen" i say in a worried tone. "Its fine. It was kind of my fault for letting him go in the forest." William says giggling a little."anyways you can talk to them if you want." He says with a little smile. I start to go upstairs and see a door that says: michael's room. I knock on the door and a paper gets through the door. The paper says: come in. So i enter and see the boy sitting on the floor. I walk in and close the door behind me. I get closer to michael and sit next to him. "Hello Michael, i just wanted to ask you some questions." I say sounding friendly. " go ahead" mike says. "So...what happened to you that your this injured?" I ask. "Well my friends lured me to the forest and one of my friends stabbed me more then 20 times i nearly died but i got home with crawling and i woke up in a hospital." He says calmly. "Where did you get stabbed?" I ask again. He then shows my his wrists, his neck, his legs, his head, pulls up his shirt showing bandages over his chest and stomach. I gasp not knowing what to say. "Its okay y/n im okay." Mike says with a warm smile. "Am i allowed to give you a hug?" I ask with a sad look. "Sure just don't put pressure on my body." Mike responds. I hug him and he hugs me back. "Btw who are you to my dad?" Mike asks with a smirk on his face. "Oh hes my boss" i try to keep my blushing away.
"So...where is your mother?" I ask. "Shes...well she left us with dad but they are still fighting over who will take care of us." Mike says sadly."are they divorced?" I ask trying not to sound rude. "No, not yet" he answers. "So only your father takes care of you guys?" I ask again.(bruh why do you ask so much things?😅) "umm not only father...our mother usually takes liz and CC to her place for a few weeks but i don't go cause i don't like to be there." He says with a sad expression on his face. "Im sorry that you need to go through this" i say. "Are your parents still alive?" He asks curiously. "Yes but i don't see my father much..." "why's that?" He asks. "Well he doesn't work so he is probably cheating on my mother." I answer. " same with my mother. I think my mother is cheating on my father" mike says with a sad look. "Well i guess ill go now. You should sleep now michael. Goodnight!" I say with a smile. "Goodnight y/n!" He says with a smile. I get put of the room and see william. I decide to not care and as i tried going downstairs he grabs my wrist. " Could you maybe ask your mother to sleep here please?" William asks tiredly. "I guess" i say. I pull my phone out and start to text to my mother.

Y/n: hey mom! Are you awake?

Mom: yes im awake! So whats up?

Y/n: can i pleaseee stay at my friends house??

Mom:are you sure?

Y/n: yes im sure.

Mom: well i guess have fun!

Y/n: thanks mom i will!

Mom: goodnight!

Y/n: goodnight mom!

"So what did your mother say?"
"She said yes" i answer. "Well i guess goodnight for now" william says with a smirk. "You can sleep in the guest room." He points to a room. "Okay well then goodnight william" i say as i walk away. i
I go to the guest room and drift off to sleep.

Yes i know its boring so far but ill try to make it fun. Btw if you guys want anything to be in the next few chapter or what willia. Should do to y/n write it down and ill write it in this book!
