Days rolled down and Ivy was in a worse condition day by day. The fear of her truth out to her real parents was eating her alive. Ever since she received a letter from them offering to join their side, Ivy was breathing worry.
More than herself she was scared for her family as every time whenever James, Harry or Jasmine left the house even for a minute in their christmas break, Ivy wouldnt be able to breath properly.
Jasmine was in her fourth year and Harry in his seventh. The horcrux hunt had began and everyone worked tirelessly to track them and the deatheaters. Ivy almost hated for not remembering the minor details of the last books of the Harry Potter franchise, because it had been almost two decades when she finished reading the books and it was almost frusterating that she knew she could help them but she wasnt sure about everything.
It had been months since Dumbledore died and Severus Snape became the headmaster of Hogwarts. Ivy constantly tried to make her kids understand that the man was not that bad but her kids and James opposed her firmly. So she just let the matter go.
Right now with the Lupin Blacks in her house and Lucille, Hermione and Ron present too, the Potter's tried to pretend that the christmas break was going well. A day earlier their christmas was spent at the Weasley's where Ivy found herself internally balling her eyes at the twins.
"Ivy, can Jas and I go out for a bit?" A sincere Noah asked to Ivy causing a smile to pull at her lips, she heard the him and Lucille talking last night about him taking Jasmine out for a small date.
"No absolutely not!"
"James!"
Ivy glared at her husband who happened to step in the kitchen out of nowhere and his words striked an upset look on Noah's face as he stared at Ivy with puppy dog eyes, Ivy sighed softly at the uncanny resemblance between Noah and Sirius.
"In amidst of war, you want to take my daughter out? Seriously?" James asked incredulously to Noah who kept on staring at Ivy causing the woman to huff angrily at her husband, "James as if you werent getting drunk last night with your friend!"
"We are adults-" James tried to defend himself being offended on his wife going againt him who interrupted him already with her hand raised, "Noah will take care Jasmine, wont you Noah?"
"Ofcourse, more than myself!" Noah beamed gaining a smile from Ivy while James looked scandalized. Ivy ruffled Noah's Sirius-like hair with a smile, "Now go, be back in an hour alright? And dont go too far away."
"Thanks Ivy," Noah grinned and turned around to leave but halted to smirk at James triumphantly who evidently fumed before he too stormed out of the kitchen making it clear that he was mad at Ivy. Rolling her eyes with an exasperated sight Ivy went behind him, "James, stop being dramatic please!"
"I am not talking to you!" He called back with a grumpy look on his face making Ivy almost laugh. She rushed behind him, passing Harry and Lucille a smile who were playing wizard chess together with deep concentration.
"Listen to me now you big baby," Ivy said having her arms wrapped around James from behind while he remained grumpy and tried to come out of her grip, "Stop right here or you'll sleep in the living room tonight!"
James halted with his mouth parted wide in disbelief, he said from his shoulder to his wife holding him from behind, "You are so cruel."
"I love you too," She smiled sheepishly pressing a kiss on his back, he was still mad as he folded his arms with a grumpy look and said, "Why did you let Jas go with him? And also you know that its dangerous out there."
"I know," Ivy sighed still hugging him from behind, "But dont worry about that, Remus had put a spell around all the kids that'll protect them, and besides that I know that Jas had been feeling low lately, her and Harry had been fighting constantly so I just wanted her to freshen up, and Noah's her best therapy."
