It has past a few days since that incident with the emperor. Yet the empress still has to be on guard to not to face consequense of her past actions.
Today also Mika was on his guard, hiding behind pillers or decorative pots to escape from the eyes of others. Little did he know that this method of his was drawing attention towards him more then usual.
This was the first time when guards and other servents saw a noble, that too a royalty, moving like a rookie thief in their own palace. They were trying their best to ignore her stupid act but her work was so unprofessional that their eyes were automatically following her every single move.
Mika being oblivious of their awkwardness continude his business. He leaned against one piller, pulling his head slightly out, scaning his suroundings, not feeling any problem, moved towards the next one. This way he finally exited his courtyard wasting more then two hours , ending other's perplextion.
Out of the courtyard he moved towards lake area to get some fresh air and to ease his mind. He sat down on the lake side. He pulled his robs up and put his feets in the water, not in elegant manner rather it was quite unhuman. While feeling coldness of water as it was slightly cold in weather. He began to sing a song that can capture any heart at an instant. But he stopped in his track suddenly as he had some weird feeling. He got up and hid behind a big tree closer to him. Few seconds later he heared some voices coming closer to him, which were quite familiar to him as he has been tourtured by the owners so he hid more trying to be one with the atmosphere.
"Looks like she isn't here, where did she go?" said Han Zhi turning to his nephew after looking around to find her.
"Looks like she got lost in this place, what more can be expected from that idiot." answered Long Xin totally insulting Mika. While later was trying best to controle his anger, chanting mantras that he read from this era's books.
"Hmm, you are right. I think we should send some of our people in search mission. Let's go and search elsewhere." With that they both left the area. Hearing footsteps fading away, Mika sighed in relief.
"Thank god , I managed to trick them." He loosened his guard down, suddenly a voice made it's way to his ears.
"So here you are?"
"Ahhh?" Mika shouted rather loudelly.
"Shut up, you are hurting my ears." Long Xin complained covering his ears with his hands, protecting them from getting damaged.
"And you are hurting my heart. You nearlly gave me a heart attack, sending me to the gates of afterlife." Mika roared on both uncle and nephew.
"Not our fault, who told you to hide like this. Trying to escape us but it's not happaning." Han Zhi said grininglly.
"What made you think that you could escape from us, who have been trained as a soldires." Lond Xin said.
"Fine you guys won. Now what do you want." Mika was pouting by now.
"Now we are talking. Well I was getting boared so I taged my dear naphew along and came to see you, Our entertainment place." answered Han Zhi as it was a most common thing to call a person their entertainment place.
With this he lead the way draging Mika along and Long Xin following behind. Making there way to find something interesting without waiting for his reply , which left him only to continue shouting 'Let go's or Leave me alone's.' as he could not match their strangth.
They manged to drge him outside completly unaware of a certain man watching them from quite some time, sitting on one of a tree around there. After they left, a man came to get the man on the tree, "General Mu, don't run off like that. It's already time for court, please come down." The person called general Mu to climb down from the tree, who was looking at the trio, who has gained quite distance, and smiled in amusement then went off with his escort.
