"Abuela, have you seen my bunny ears!" Blossom yelled in search of part her costume

"Yeah, it's right here!" Ma'Meacheo yelled back

Blossom headed over to the kitchen. Her grandma sitting at the table, looking over some things from the safe Blossom had found and her brother coming into the house with the mail.

"Tell me again what you are?"

"I'm gonna be Lola Bunny. Y'know the bunny from looney tunes." Blossom said grabbing the mail from her brother

"That's why you're blonde." Jasiel said. "Also if your looking for the letter from the ballet school, it hasn't come."

Blossom groaned sitting down at the table. "What if I didn't get in? What if-"

Ma'Meacheo stopped her. "Stop with the what if's. You whether you made it or not, it'll be fine."

"Wow abuela, that helped me so much" Blossom said putting her head down on the table

Ma'Meacheo bit the inside of her cheek. Debating if she actually wants to show her what she found.

"Well I know this isn't the letter from New York, but I think you would still like them." Ma'Meacheo said handing over letters

"To: Angela Martinez From: Robert Soto" Blossom read. "Are these some type of love letter from papi to mami?"

Ma'Meacheo nodded. "When your parents were about 16, your father had moved away to Chicago." Ma'Meacheo pulled out a necklace with a heart pendant. "Before he had left, he gave Angela this necklace."

Blossom turned around pulling up her hair. Her grandmother put it around her neck.

"She would want you to have it." Abuela said picking up the letters. "You can read these later."

Blossom smiled. As much as she hated her father, she had to admit before his was lowkey a romantic when it came to Blossom's mother.

Blossom noticed another necklace. It had a key on it. "What about that one?" She pointed to it

"Oh shit. This was your father other half of the necklace." Abuela said. "Cause look with the key, you can open the heart and it has a picture of them inside."

Blossom took the key using it to open the pendant. She open it seeing a picture of her young parents hugging and smiling like crazy.

"They look so happy." Jasiel said

"Here." Blossom handed over the key to her brother. "You kept the key and I kept the heart."

Jasiel had tears in his eyes. His missed is mom and his dad before everything happened.
