Narrator's POV

"She's waking up"

Blossom had been in the hospital for the past 10 hours. Fez was able to get help before it was too late.

Blossom had opened her eyes to bright lights. Seeing a doctor, and 2 nurses. Only hearing the sound of beeps. She was confused, only remembering dropping to the floor.

"Hi, I'm doctor Elordi." The doctor said very calmly

"Where's Fez?" Blossom said starting to panic. "Where's my grandma? Where's my brother?"

The heart monitor started to beep faster and faster as Blossom's worry grew. The thought of them getting hurt was overpowering. Even though Jasiel and Ma'Meacheo weren't there.

"Ma'am, everything is gonna be ok. They're in the waiting room right now." Doctor Elordi spoke as calmly as possible not wanting to cause even more panic. "Would you like me to go them?" Blossom nodded starting to calm down. The doctor left, leaving Blossom with the 2 nurses.

After a few minutes, the doctor had come back with Blossom's grandma. Ma'Meacheo practically ran to her grandchild, bringing her into a hug.

They both started crying. The thought of losing Blossom the same way she lost her daughter ran around Ma'Meacheo's head. She couldn't lose her. She wouldn't.

"¡Mi Amor, Siento mucho que te haya pasado esto!" Ma'Meacheo cried. "Lo Siento mucho."
(Translation: my love, I'm so sorry this happened to you! I'm so sorry)

Blossom didn't respond. She just continued to cry. She could have died. She would never see her family, or friends again. She wouldn't see Fez anymore.

Ma'Meacheo pulled away from the hug, wiping her tears. "Jasiel is at home with Fez and Ashtray by the way."

Blossom nodded. "What did Fez do?" she spoke quietly

"What?"

"What did Fez do when I got shot?" Blossom spoke up

"I honestly don't know," Ma'Meacheo said. "All I know is that when I got here Fez was covered in your blood."

Blossom sighed as she laid back down on the hospital bed. Closing her eyes hoping to fall asleep. Not wanting to have a memory of the shooting. Not a memory from the last shooting.

"Blossom woke up," Jasiel said getting off the phone with his grandma. "Abuelita said we can go over there when we're ready."

"I wanna see her." Ashtray said and Jasiel agreed

Fez stayed silent. The memories of the night before slowly come back. What if she didn't survive? What if this is his fault? If never asked Blossom out, she wouldn't be in a hospital bed.

"Fez we can wait it out if don't want to go," Jasiel reassured him

Jasiel knew how hard this stuff can go. Blossom didn't eat or drink for months. He would have to force her and their dad wasn't helping.

"Nah, it's fine," Fez said. "Let's go see, B"

The three boys had arrived at the hospital. As they walk to Blossom's room, Fez couldn't help but get more nervous with each step he took. He didn't want to see her like this.

They all walked into the room, Jasiel, and Ashtray basically running to hug Blossom.

"I'm so glad you're ok" Jasiel mumbled

"I'm glad I'm ok, too," Blossom said as both Jasiel and Ash pulled away. "Ash, are you crying?"

"What! No! There's just lots of dust in here." Ashtray said wiping his tears

Blossom noticed Fez standing there. Blossom knew he was scared. Who wouldn't? Seeing someone you love almost die is scary.

"Hey, Fez" Blossom smiled

"Hey, B"

"Come on boys. Let's give them a minute." Ma'Meacheo said getting the boys away

"We just got here and they already need a minute?" Ash complained

"You'll be fine. Now come on." Ma'Meacheo said waving goodbye to Fez and Blossom

It was silent for a while. Neither of them not knowing what to say. Neither of them wanted to say something stupid.

"I got you something." Fez finally spoke up handing a bag to Blossom

"You didn't have to-"

"Just open it"

Blossom nodded, opening the bag. It had a book in it.

"People We Meet on Vacation" Blossom read

"It ain't no enemies to lovers as you read, but the lady at the book store said it was good," Fez said making Blossom smile

"I don't only read enemies to lovers." Blossom pointed out

"Yeah, you also read that weird sexual stuff." Fez laughed and so did Blossom

He could listen to her laugh all day. Blossom made him happy. She always has and always will.

"Come here" Blossom scouted over on the bed making space for Fez

Fez got on the bed next to his girl. Wrapping his arms around her waist, pulling Blossom closer.

"I'm sorry this happened." Fez said

"It's not your fault, Fez. It would never be your fault." Blossom reassured him

Fez was about to say something really important. Like I mean really important when it came to their relationship. But of course, Rue and Lexi came in.

"Sup Bitches!" Rue exclaimed

"Hello to you too, Rue." Blossom laughed

"Are we interrupting something?" Lexi asked looking at the couple with raised eyebrows

"No, you didn't." Blossom smiled. "We were just talking."

"Ok, good cause it would be awkward if y'all were about like fucking or something." Rue spoke

"Rue!" Blossom and Lexi said in unison

"Yeah Rue. The bed is to small for that." Fez said getting hit on the the back of the head by Blossom

"What! It's the truth!"
