Nira got inside the vehicle and told the driver the destination she will be going.

She can't believe that she spent 20 minutes drinking a medium-size coffee drink and literally just a slice of strawberry cake but that's not what she should be concerned this time.

She took out her phone and dialed her cousin but somehow the girl behind the phone didn't answer.

She groaned as she observe the time then outside the window again, pacing her eyes back and forth while biting her nails.

After arriving at the destination, she payed the driver then thanked him and headed inside.

The room wasn't loud rather, it was quiet. She looked for everyone in the room but there was no one. Maybe i'm in the wrong venue?

Just as she was about to give up and decided not to attend the stupid party anymore, she heard someone called out her name. It was her cousin, Jun-Seo.

"N, what are you doing here? I thought everybody left already."

"Left? What do you mean?" She stared at him with a confused expression.

"They went to the mall. They decided to stroll there for a while since the birthday celebrant got super bored while waiting for you." He replied.

Obviously that was a lie, he's just trying to tease her to get a reaction or making her even more pissed.

"That doesn't sound reasonable." she muttered.

"Anyway, quit the fucking teasing and tell me which mall." she replied with a stern voice which grabbed the other male's attention.

"Okay okay, no need to include cursing around here."

Nira rolled her eyes trying to shrug off the impatience that she has in her.

"Munjeong-dong mall."

She went inside the mall hoping to find the others while her eyes landed on every person inside.

Suddenly someone tapped her shoulder.

She flinched in surprise and turned around to see that it was only her cousin.

"Oh my god, you could've killed me with that tap of yours!" she said, rather yelling.

"Shh. Keep your voice down." the girl put an index finger in her mouth making Nira more than less annoyed.

Hanna, also known as Nira's other cousin.

"Why are you so late?" Hanna stared at
Nira with menace.

"Well, i shouldn't be late if you just answered my calls."

"Okay, whatever." Hanna replied whispering.

"Why are you whispering though? We're literally at a mall."

Hanna was dumbfounded by the sudden realization. Yes, why am i whispering?

"Anyways, let's go to the clothing line. They are waiting for you there."
Hanna took Nira's hand and went to the elevator.

The elevator was full of people which means they have to wait for their turn.

While waiting, the two exchange questions to each other to wave off the tedious energy between them.

"So.. How's your love life?"

Really? Out of all the other questions?

"Meh, still not planning on doing that specific word you said."

"Oh come on Ni, you're turning 20 soon and you're still not moving your butt out of your lonely sit."

This made Nira pause for a bit then slowly looked at Hanna.

She felt like she has to challenge herself if she doesn't wanna end up being a widow.

Hanna's words kept repeating in her head and just as she was about to backfire Hanna by her own words, the elevator door opened.

Revealing a tall guy with sable hair and a curtain haircut who seemed like he just got off his shift.

Just as the guy tilt his head upwards to walk out from the elevator, he locked eyes with Nira.

The connection was intense and it felt like time stopped at that specific moment. Nira looked into his dark brown orbs and cold stare.

The fervent staring competition didn't last when the elevator operator asked the guy to take off already.

The guy shaked his head and went off, bowing to everyone who's impatiently waiting for him to get out from the elevator.

Nira was too stunned to even talk that the younger female had to shake her shoulder to tell her that the elevator is waiting.
