4 hours ago in the elevator guy's POV + third person POV.
I ran towards the elevator while trying to signal the operator that I badly need to get inside in order to be in my destination in time.
Thankfully, the elevator operator still allowed me to get through even though she was about to press the close button.
I fixed my polo and took out my phone out of my pocket while resting my hand on my hips.
You might be wondering, why do i have to get in the elevator so badly?
Well actually, there's no reason. I just don't want to wait another minute for the elevator to go down and up again.
I just got off my shift as a janitor at this mall and i extremely want to go home and just jump straight on my bed.
The thought of the word home clouded in my head even though i was clearly looking at my phone.
The elevator finally arrived at the ground floor and the operator opened the door, waiting for us to get out.
The moment i tilt my head up in order to know where i will be heading to, We locked eyes.
I felt an instant parallel.
It felt weird.
It felt like the world just stopped, or everything just stopped.
Just then the elevator operator shook my arm lightly trying to gesture that i have to get out in order for the other people to get in.
I apologize for the patience she has and i repeatedly bowed to the people who was waiting with impatience in their eyes.
As i was walking towards the exit, I can't help but turn my body back as i was searching for the particular stranger i just had eye contact on.
A stranger that i had locked my eyes with.
A stranger who made the world stop — or more like the one who made my world stop.
But to my dismay, that stranger was already gone.
In order to not waste time, i went to exit the mall and got inside a cab to drive home.

I am already at my front door, hesitant to enter the house.
I sighed and reluctantly opened it.
I was tired and this cold house made it even worse.
It's not just a house. It's more like a mansion and a big one of course.
Why do i work as a janitor when i actually have money?
It's because i was tired at doing nothing at all, repeating the exact same routine everyday and barely even seeing my parents.
But ever since i started working as a janitor while hiding my real identity, i found out what real fun is and found really good friends.
I placed my body on the couch, giving all my weight on it.
I felt relieved for the first time today, especially when i worked 10 hours pacing back and forth while mopping an entire mall.
Somehow that feeling didn't last when he heard his phone ring making him pissed.
He looked at the contact name and sighed.
What does he want now.
Of course it was his father.
He hates his father, ever since he forced him to break up from his last relationship.
He answered the call and didn't speak up first, he just wants to end it but that would be a disrespectful thing to do to an elderly.
"Seo-Junah."
One last thing Seo-Jun wants to hear is his father calling his name in a very dulcet tone pretending that nothing happened between them.
"Yes?"
Seo-Jun can't even get himself to say the word Appa to his dad.
"Nothing, i just want to say good night."
"Okay, good night."
"Good night, I love y-."
The younger didn't let his dad finish the sentence because he doesn't want to hear the three specific words, especially when it comes from his father.
He tossed his phone to the other side of the couch and looked above the hanging chandelier on the ceiling.
Then he remembered the event that just happened.
He remembered the exact same girl that doesn't want to leave his head.
"Shit."
He moved his body in a sideward position while trying to distract his head by drifting himself to sleep.
He doesn't want to wake up with eye bags tomorrow morning, right?
