Chapter 12 | Regret

Han's POV

My heart is practically beating out my chest as I held on to Y/n.. Beating so fast I was afraid it could be heard outside of my body.

After running and eventually loosing Tae, we found a space to hide. Though, it's not the best place since it is a public women's bathroom, but it was enough for now.
"Han.."
"Shh, it's okay.." I say holding her even tighter as too keep her from falling off into the floor.

SMACK! The door to the restroom opens violently sounding almost like a bullet flying out from a gun.

We both shook in fear at the sudden noise. The pressure in the room drops so heavy that the air in my lungs could barley function.
"You and your little Girlfriend can't hide in here for ever Jisung.."  Tae's loud footsteps echoed off the walls and his voice ringed out like nails on chalkboard along with it. Step by step we could hear him until he stops and the sound of a door  not  far from us, burst open. "Not there.." Again he forced open another door. "You have to be in at least one of these baby brother.."

BANG BANG!!
Like the sound of my heart, he pounds on the door beside us.

"You locked me in! Not for long though.." Suddenly the sound of a door becoming unhinged fills the air bouncing dreadfully around. Afterwards a women's scream of terror and scuffling is heard. Then pure silence..
Y/n starts to shake harder underneath my arms. I give her cheek soft kisses to reassure her we'd be fine. After a second, a squishy like sound is heard and a pool of blood starts to form from the stall beside us.
"A waste of a woman.. I guess they really aren't here.." He groans before fast walking out of the bathroom. Swiftly and still without much noise, I get us out of the stall we hid in. As we got out I immediately dragged Y/n away from the other stall before either of us could see the mess Tae had made.

"Where do we go?!" Y/n says panicking.
"We can't go back to my house that's for sure.. It's best if we find the car and make a run to a safe place."
"Let's just go to a police station and stay there at least you will be safe."
"Good idea. At least we will be somewhere a bit safer"
"Han?" Y/n says grabbing my arm.
"Yes?"
"What's wrong with Tae? You seemed a bit too shocked at what he was saying.. Is he really a medium?"

" it's possible. The medium world is way more complex then one might think. Because you can sometimes succumb to the will of a demon instead of being sucked into the abyss to be tortured. Especially with that Venta Board I used, possession can take place.. He must have sneaked it from my view and disrespected it since he isn't as educated on the rules like I was.." I sigh trying not to freak out over this new bit of information in order to not have Y/n more scared than she already was, "Tae is not Tae so anything coming out from his mouth may be a lie. I have no idea how long this has been going on . But we need to get away from him as quick as we can. Okay?" I say grabbing her face within my shaking hands. She nods at this and we take off into the grassy sunny park yet again.

Thankfully as we made our way to the car, Tae was no where to be seen. Yet, we were quick to unlock it and make our way out of the park. As we zoom out of that place. I grab my phone and begin calling the police.
"This is 911 what is your emergency?"
"There's been a murder in the Women's public bathroom at Wonder Park on South Sky Ave."
"Do you know who did it? Did you see the a suspect around."
"Tae Han. He was also after me.."
"Okay. We are dispatching officers your way too. Where are you?"
"Im headed South of highway 31  heading to the Wonder Lake police station right now."
"Okay, I'll be notifying authorities in your area now."

"HAN-" I look to the rear view mirror to see a familiar black car following behind us.

Tae's buddie's car.
