we sat there for a few days before machines started appearing and surrounding the endeavor
"prepare to launch dragoons bring the isolde, and tristans around" i ordered
"the lead unit seems to be holding something" julieta said i was confused
"this is Dr. werner franxx to unknown vessel please identify yourselves" an old mans voice announced through the machines speakers i nodded to cagalli

"i thought so, they probably do not even know what APE is
"may i come aboard" the Dr. asked
"juileta, lunamaria get to your gundams" i said they saluted and followed orders
"certainly though you will have to give us a moment to get our linear catapults to function" i said i was lying our catapults were fine but i wanted to give my pilots time to get to their machines after a few minutes i activated the catapult and the single unit entered through it the others remained outside i walked to the hanger and met the old man

"welcome aboard the endeavor and sorry for the mess we are still undergoing repairs" i said
"not at all, allow me to introduce, alpha and zeta, two of the elites the nines" Dr. franxx

"your pilots must remain in the hanger however" i said he nodded i led the old man to our bridge where cagalli was waiting
"wear is your communications station" he asked i led him to the station and he started implementing commands into the computer
"this is Dr. franxx i have successfully made contact and their leader is standing right next to me" the old man said

"we wish to extend an offer for you to join our forces as your own independent branch, you personally will join our elite squad the nines as it's new leader should you accept" i asked
"i will join, if you give me your word my crew and ship won't be touched it can and has been repairing itself" i said the councilmen looked at each and and silently came to an agreement
