"Naughty girl. Staying up past your bedtime, naughty girls get punished."

(Name) looked up at the animatronic above her, it's red eyes boring into her.

It was just..hanging there, waiting for a response.

It was waiting for her to run but she didn't.

"You must be the Moon I saw!" She said excitedly before covering her mouth.

"Sorry, Naptime, right." She let her hands fall to her side.

It seemed to throw off the moon as it was still.

"Oh and, I'm a worker here, I have to stay up in case a child gets hurt or has an accident, here's my badge."

The workers I'd badge was pressed in his face as he seemed to snap out of whatever trance he was in.

She was a strange one, that much was clear to him. She seemed...excited to see him.

Not afraid, not disgusted, excited.

Either she was stupid, ignorant, or Sun's toxic positivity had already rubbed off on her.

She was still standing there, waiting for a response.

So, he finally spoke.

"I am. I'm Moon, though Sun hasn't told you about me."

There was a playfulness in his voice. Or maybe it was supposed to be intimidating.

"Oh, that's right. Well I didn't want to push Sun and make him uncomfortable when I asked about you. He didn't seem to want to talk about it."

That was an understatement, seeing as Sun was screeching and pleading in his head currently.

'Please Moon, please please please please oh pretty please with sugar on top, don't tell them about us! Please, I really really realllllly like her. Please!' Sun begged.

'Why shouldn't I? Aren't you supposed to never lie? Lying to your only friend tsktsk Sun.'

'NoNoNoNoNo not a lie no no! It's not a lie no! It's me keeping them safe-'

'They are going to find out sometime Sun, all it will take is them calling out for you, and you not showing up, them staying a little late, being here and witness to the change at--'

'Please Moon, Please! Please Please Please Please Please Please--'

'Shut up. Your secret is safe with me.'

(Name) looked at Moon, confused why he's gone so quiet, not that he seems likely to talk anyway.

He finally spoke.

"The children are asleep..why don't we play a game?"

'Moon no! You're too rough when you play games.'

Sun was, well ignored.

It was only fair if Moon spent some time with this little star.

"A game? Well--we should watch the children."

"They won't be waking up anytime soon. Trust me."

That was a little ominous, the way he said that, but all the children seemed fine.

"Well what kind of game--!"

She jumped back when he let go of her shoulders, instead landing in front of her as he crouched down.
