"Whoa! You tried to get past the 11th stairway?!" Adelaide was amazed. That little girl was brave enough to try and get past the toll just to save a bird, she wished she was as brave as the little red-head in-front of her nodding enthusiastically.

"Yeah! And those guys earlier chased me all the way over here, if it wasn't for Farlan and Levi-Bro I probably would've been dead meat,"

"Levi-bro?" Isabel nodded as Adelaide smiled to herself Bingo! More blackmail material!

"Anyways, what's your name? I only saw you when I first came, but then you seemed to disappear."

"Adelaide, I was sleeping on the couch, Levi probably brought me back to my room when I was sleeping." Adelaide smiled brightly. "And you?"

"Isabel, Isabel Magnolia,"

"Isabel..." Adelaide let the name slip from her lips, testing out the name, "It's a pleasure to meet you!"

"You as well!" The conversation paused for a moment, not an awkward pause per say – but a necessary one. The two seemed to collect their thoughts before speaking again.

"You're joining us, right? With the ODM gear?" Adelaide began questioning, curiosity displayed on her face.

"Huh? Oh- OH YEAh I am! Levi-bro said I could! I'm so excited! But he said I have to learn to clean first or something," Isabel happily explained before her expression turned into a childish pout.

Adelaide couldn't help but chuckle, "Levi has always been a clean freak, I'll tell you that. After knowing him for 10 minutes he threw a wet rag at me and told me to wipe the dirt off my face." Isabel stared at Adelaide in astonishment, soaking up every word that fell from the brunette's mouth.

"Woah really?"

Flashback

The little green-eyed girl hadn't been sitting in the pub for long. Only for about three minutes or so, maybe only two. You see, after being dropped off into one of the booths the ebony haired boy stalked off to God knows where leaving the girl huddled in the booth, wishing she was back in the stream of light through the window.

She didn't have to wait long however for warmth to return, for soon the ebony haired boy had reappeared with a dripping rag in hand.

The brunette opened her mouth to speak, but no sound came out as she was quickly interrupted by the feeling of a warm rag thrown at her face.

"Wipe your face. Your covered in dirt." The ebony boy stated, looking almost disgusted at the sight of her dirt covered face.

Scrambling, the girl quickly grabbed and rubbed her face in attempt to clear her skin of the dirt littering her face.

"You're doing it wrong," The boy snatched the rag from her hands and began gently wiping the dirt clear off her face. Holding her cheek in his hand as he examined her now clean face.

"Better." The boy was met with small bony arms wrapping around his waist as the girl buried her face into his shirt, "thank you, Lee."

"Lee-?"

End

"Woah! So, you've known Levi-bro for a long time then, right?"

"A very long time, about fourteen years I think?" Adelaide questioned; her memory clearly muddled.

"FOuRteen years?! Wow, that's a loong time," Isabel bounced.

"Yeah, I guess it is. I never really realized how long its been." Adelaide laid her head against her hand, deep in thought paying little thought to Isabel who seemed quite nervous.
