"This is harder than I thought," Isabel grumbled as she hung upside down, arms crossed in an adorable pout.

"I don't know why you would think this is easy." Adelaide said with a pointed look as she helped Isabel back up, "You guys just make it look so easy, you all just seem to fly through the air,"

Adelaide chuckled, "Flying takes practice- "she brought Isabel down to sit with her in the ally, "Take your bird for example, it isn't ready to fly as soon as it hatches. This is your first time using ODM gear, don't sweat it." Her hand patted Isabel's shoulder before pulling her up.

"Ok, now I want you to do that again" Isabel gave an enthusiastic smile, Adelaide gave a half-hearted grin back. She knew what was coming...

*Crash*

"Again."

*Clatter* "Who put's an umbrella up! We're underground!"

"Again."

*Boom* "...."

"Again."

*panting* "Hey, can we take a break? I just fell through a window"

"Again." "Ughhhhh"

*About to pass out* "Let me – hold on - *pant* let me guess, again?"

"No, I think we're done for the day,"

"Oh, thank god!" Isabel sighed in relief, almost falling over. Adelaide grinned, "You did pretty good for your first day, I'm proud." Isabel scrunched her nose as her hair was ruffled before a gummy smile broke over her features.

"You really think so!?"

"Of course, you've got natural talent!" Adelaide winked, "But keep that between you and me, we don't need Levi hearing that. Or Farlan," Isabel giggled,

"Secret's safe with me!" She mimed zipping her lips before she burst out laughing.

*

"Woah! Your cooking is the best Farlan!" Isabel exclaimed; sparkles seemed to radiate off of her with her cheerful expression.

"Why thank you, you should try Adelaide's cooking sometime. Her beef stew is to die for!" Farlan complemented as Isabel's cheerful expression was then directed at the cloth covered brunette,

"You have to make me it soon, yeah?" Was all Isabel said before Adelaide could even open her mouth. Instead of what she had planned to say, giggles fell out of her mouth like a cascading melody, a cheeky smile adorned her face, "Farlan you have to take a compliment sometime! And I'll make you stew if we can afford to spare some money anytime soon, alright?"

Isabel nodded as she shoveled Farlan's famous mashed potatoes down her throat.

Adelaide felt a gentle hand rest against her back as she fondly watched Isabel and Farlan converse. The hand was a hand that she could recognize anywhere, she leaned back into the touch as she looked back at Levi's rarely appearing fond smile at the sight before the two. And she couldn't help but let her face break into a large grin at the sight.

*

"WOOOOOOOOO!"

"YES, YOUR DOING IT!"

Isabel's laughter mixed with Adelaide's as they flew through the air, over houses, alleyways, people, everything.

Farlan and Levi watched them scream and shout from a few meters behind them, flying alongside each other they exchanged few words, more focused on their surroundings unlike the two in-front of them.

"You ready for your first job?" Isabel's smile widened more than thought possible, "Yes! Oh my god! My first job!"

Adelaide grinned, "Here they come!"
