"It's wonderful, isn't it?" you said with a smile, gazing out at the view.
Your afternoon waitress dropped off menus for both of you, excusing herself to retrieve the two glasses of Louis Jadot wine, as you had requested.
"It's beautiful, indeed," she agreed, though her voice lacked excitement.
