Latte's POV:
I was looking for Madeline since it the day of the meet ,and it was 5:30. Espresso was about to leave ,so I told him to wait so I could find Madeleine. As I was walking by the park I saw Madeline's sword resting on a tree, so I walked into the park but didn't see him. As I was about to leave I heard a tree branch break and when I looked at where the sound came from I saw Madeline! I walked over to him but when I saw him it looked like was crying!? When he saw me he quickly wiped his tears and smiled at me like nothing happened.
Madeleine: *sniff* hi Latte!
Latte: Madeleine...are you ok?
Before I knew it Madeleine broke out into tears!
Madeleine: ..no..
Latte: what happened?
Madeleine: I got... someone..
Latte: it's ok you don't have to tell me
Latte: do you want to reschedule the meet up?
Madeline: can we do it later please...
Latte: sure I'll tell espresso about it
Madeleine: thank you latte..
Latte: no problem
I stand up and walked away, but I couldn't help but wonder why he was so sad. I walked over to espresso who was still at the fountain on his phone, so I walked over to him and asked if we could do the meet up later. He said sure so then I said goodbye and went home.
Madeleines POV:
When latte was out of sight I started crying again. I felt so embarrassed and ashamed that I could let this happen. I wiped my tears and got up, so I could go to my house to get rest.
I when I made it to my house I immediately went to my room and started crying again. I looked over to my cream colored nightstand that had a paper on it. I grabbed the paper and ripped it in half ,and then I grabbed my phone and texted latte.
Madeleine: when do you want to meet up again
Latte: is 7:00 good?
Madeleine: yea
Latte: if you want we can call off the meeting
Madeleine: let's still meet up
Latte:are you sure
Madeleine: yes I'm sure
Latte: ok well I'll see you there
Madeleine: ok!
After texting latte I decided to take a nap to calm down, so I set an alarm and went to sleep.
Espresso's POV:
I waiting by the fountain when latte came up to me. She had just went to go look for Madeline and came back asking to the meet up later. I new that something was going on ,but I just agreed and walked back home. When I was walking back home I couldn't help but think why. When I got back home I started to get back to work.
Time skip😮‍💨
Latte texted me saying that it was time to go back to the fountain, so I grabbed my bag and went back outside. As I was walking I must taken a wrong turn and got lost in the kingdom. I accidentally bumped into somebody tall with long blond hair, and he had ocean blue eyes.
Espresso: "Oh! Sorry."
Madeleine: "Oh! It's fine," he said with a smile on his face.
Espresso: " By the way do you happen to know where the fountain is? Im new here."
Madeline: " Yea, I'm actually heading there right now."
Espresso: " Is your name Madeline cookie?"
