Alright, so I spent my Math period brainstorming AUs, so I have a few to write now.

Ok, so my History knowledge on WWII is limited and most of this is most likely inaccurate but you know what? I don't care

Cassandra marched with her platoon, making great time to Italy on foot. They had just been ambushed by Slovakian guerrillas, and they had lost just shy of 30 men from the original 51.

The Nazi herself wasn't wounded too badly, a few bruises and scratches, but nothing too serious. They had to make up for lost time after that, which they had just managed to do.

Cassandra's platoon marched into the Nazi camp, greeting the official in charge.

"Where the hell were you? And why are there so few of you? Your platoon had fifty people!" The officer shouted at her captain, her father. Everyone knew he had a short fuse, and he was desperate to let his anger out on someone after finding out his wife was Jewish. Their daughter had even elected to be Jewish, instead of the superior religion of Christianity. The traitors' whereabouts are unknown, but the Officer is set on finding them and converting them.

"I apologize for the delay, Officer Frederick, we were ambushed and lost a great number of men," Captain Gustav reports. Cassandra tuned out her father's report and wandered to one of the nearby tents, greeting the people inside, and taking her fill of rations.

The Nazi chewed on the jerky she was given, listening to the conversation of her platoon-mates.

"I must've taken out at least 10 of their men by myself!" Shouted Eugene.

"Oh please, the only thing you took out was the trees," Cassandra snarked back through her jerky.

The youngest of their group, Pete, snickered, causing Eugene to glare at him.

Just then, Captain Gustav walked into the tent, and everyone stood up and at attention.

"Men, we've been assigned to help in the search of Ladies Arianna and Rapunzel."

This earned several groans, but a few were bolder.

"It's a useless search! We're never going to find them if they haven't been found by now!" One of her fellow Nazis, Otto, yelled.

The captain sighed, "I know, I know. We don't have any say in it against the Officer."

The next wave of collective groans was interrupted by loud booms, screams of agony, and the shouts of orders being called outside the tent.

The entire tent burst into action, grabbing their guns and ammunition before racing out of the tent.

Cassandra rushed into the battlefield, loading her assault rifle and firing as soon as she locks on her targeted assailants with deadly accuracy. The attackers were speaking in what sounded like English.

Soldier after soldier fell lifelessly to the ground, bleeding from their heads and chests.

The assailants retreated into the woods they had attacked from, but Cassandra and a small band of Nazis pursued them into the forest. German shouts and English alike were all Cassandra could hear over her own footsteps and racing heart.

The team of Nazis thundered into an abandoned and bombed village, where more Nazis, tanks, and trucks were firing mercilessly at the oncoming attack. Joining the battle instantly, Cassandra charged, firing her gun at any opposing life form.

Cassandra paused her gunfire when she caught a glimpse of golden yellow and black behind a half-destroyed cobblestone wall.

Jews caught in the crossfire.
