"Can we just talk about it later? I'm busy," Jaxon seems uninterested with what Avery has to say

"Don't worry, You have all the time to yourself 'cause I'm breaking up with you." Avery blurted out

"Wait what? What do you mean you're breaking up with me?" Jaxon sounded exasperated with Avery saying this to him out of nowhere, marami na nga siyang iniisip ay dumagdag pa ito.

"We're done, Jax. It's over." Avery is trying her hardest not to cry while Nicole is rubbing her back, trying to comfort her

There's a long silence at the other line as she said it

Dahil hindi na nakapagsalita si Jaxon, ibababa na dapat ni Avery ang tawag nang bigla ito magsalita

"Where are you?" Jaxon asks

"Why do you want to know? For what? " Masungit na anya ni Avery

"It's better if we talked about this in person." And with that, Jaxon hangs up the call

"Is he actually gonna come here to talk to you?" Nicole shockingly said like this was the first time she heard Jaxon putting a little effort to her bestfriend, mukhang nasanay ito na si Avery ang palagi naghahabol kay Jaxon

"I don't know.  Sa totoo lang, ayaw ko na siyang makita."

"You know what, he's right. You guys should talk in person for closure na rin. Just make sure you won't forget what he did to you the moment you you saw him." Nicole warned, Avery didn't answer but she seems serious of breaking up with Jaxon for good

Ayaw ng intayin ni Avery si Jaxon na puntahan siya dahil para sa kanya ay tapos na sila, lalabas na dapat si Nicole sa kwarto ni Avery nang biglang dumating si Jaxon.

Nagkatinginan ang dalawa ng magkasalubong sila sa pintuan ng kwarto ni Avery while Nicole is giving him the side eye.

Jaxon chose to ignore her since Avery is the reason why he's here habang si Nicole ay tuluyan ng umalis, leaving them alone to talk.

"Can you please leave? We already broken up. " Avery said with tiredness in her eyes

"Can you at least explain to me the reason why you're breaking up with me?" Jaxon seems irritated and about to lose his cool

"Do you really need an explanation?" Avery said it like she was about to cry

"As far as I know, we're okay. We're doing okay, babe! So what the fuck was this all about?" Nag uumpisa ng lumakas ang pananalita ni Jaxon sa inis

"I'm tired, Okay?! You never texted me back and we rarely go out anymore! "Avery shouted back as she hold back her tears

"Damn it, Avery. You know exactly how busy I am! Was it really that hard for you to be more understanding?!"

"And you think that was the only reason? I know what you did!" Avery couldn't help but to say it out loud "Blair told me everything I need to know!"

Biglang natahimik si Jaxon nang marinig 'yon, hindi niya inakala na sasabihin ni Blair kay Avery ang nangyare.

"Do you really thought I'd never gonna find out?" Avery said, tears are running down her face with Jaxon still not talking

"So ano? Balak mo na lang itago?"

Avery was about to say another word  when Jaxon broke off his silence "I know what I did was wrong. And I deeply regretted it."

There's agony in his eyes as he said it like he really meant every word he said "I was intoxicated and not in the right state of mind when that happened.
