The man continued his run after meeting with the person that he was longing to meet. Yeah, the man was Mingyu. He had taken the opportunity to talk to the person that he was longing to meet. Using the information he received that she would be jogging in the morning, he used it as his chance to meet with her.

She was still the same. Cautious as ever to the person that she did not know. She was polite as well. Even though her look was not the same as the past, she was still so beautiful. In the past, she looked like a flower fairy, now she looked like an angel that came down from the sky.

However, Mingyu did not expect that Lisa would have a beast beside her. The husky Siberian breed dog was the beast. When he pat the dog’s head, he could sense the spiritual energy. He could also sense the bond between the two of them. The blood contract.

Mingyu knew about the blood contract, it was an equal contract between the human and the beast. When the human was injured, the beast would feel the pain too. It also worked reversely. When one died, another one would follow it.

Lisa might not know about the contract, that beast must be the one that made the contract itself. Mingyu was pretty sure that Lisa was currently a normal girl without knowing about the spiritual energy. So, if he wanted to get rid of the dog, Lisa would be suffering as well. He did not want that to happen.

He knew that the dog could also sense the spiritual energy from his hand as he was petting its head. However, he was not afraid that the dog would tell anyone about that because it was a dog. The dog did not know to speak the human language. He did not know that Lisa already knew about everything.

The date of the opening ceremony was coming soon and he could not wait. He would use his position to make Lisa know about who he was.

Just as he was thinking about what to do next, he felt his phone vibrate as a call came in. He looked at the phone and saw that it was only his secretary. Feeling lazy, He picked up the call.

“What?” He used his lazy voice to answer the call.

“Sir, we got some problems with our cargo. Something nasty was found inside of it. Someone was using our cargo to smuggle drugs into the country.” His secretary reported the situation.

“Do you know who the bastard is?” Mingyu asked.

“I don’t know, Sir.” His secretary answered slowly. He knew that his president was already becoming angry, even though his president’s voice was calm. It was calm before the storm.

“Bunch of idiots. I will handle it when I go back.” Mingyu said as he ground his teeth.

Mingyu ended the call and sighed. He would not be able to see Lisa tomorrow, instead, he needed to go back and settle the problem. ‘We will meet again.’

Wendy was in a good mood for the last few days. She had not gotten a call from the old man so she assumed that the old man was busy playing with Lisa, the bitch. She walked around the town and enjoyed her freedom.

However, she was surprised to see someone that she did not expect to see here. With a proud smile, she walked over to the person.

“Hi.” Wendy greeted the person.

The person looked at Wendy like she was an idiot. The person was Lisa. She did not know how Wendy got the nerve to greet her like this.

“Lisa, nice to meet you here.” Wendy smiled.

“Idiot.” Lisa said one word.

Wendy heard what she said and became angry, but she managed to calm herself down. “Lisa, how have you been? Did your last few days go well?” Wendy wanted to annoy Lisa. She thought Lisa had been tortured by the old man for the past few days so that was why she was asked that question.

Lisa did not reply to her question but continued to say just one word. “Moron.” It was the same meaning as an idiot.

Wendy did not hold herself back anymore. “Hey, Lisa! I know what had happened to you in the past days. If you did not want others to know about that, give me one million dollars.” Wendy wanted some money and figured that this would be an easy way to get it. So, she decided to blackmail Lisa in exchange for her silence. She knew that Lisa did not want people to know about what she had been through and therefore, she might give her money.

Lisa suddenly laughed. She could not help but wanted to open up and see what was in Wendy’s head. She was so stupid! Maybe she would get the answer of what was in this stupid Wendy head.

“What are you laughing at?” Wendy asked in anger when her blackmail did not succeed.

“I am only laughing at your stupidity.” Lisa wanted to annoy Wendy so that she would become even angrier.

“You... You want people to know what had happened to you these past few days?” Wendy demanded, still wanting to spread the scandal around and ruin Lisa.

“You really want people to know about it?” Lisa asked Wendy in an amused tone.

Wendy became quiet. ‘Why? Why did Lisa, this bitch, ask me this question? Was she not scared of what would happen when people found out about the incident? She should be scared. Lisa, this bitch, she just did not want me to inform others. I will just destroy her reputation.’ Wendy sneered to herself.

“You are Wang Wendy?”

Suddenly, Wendy could hear someone asked a question to her. She looked a took at the person and realized that she did not know who they were. However, she still answered their question.

“Yes, I am.” Wendy nodded.

“It is really her.”

“She looks very young. We could not assume her age.”

“So young yet...”

“Such a bitch.”

“I wonder how her mother taught her.”

“She is that Wang Su Ren and Wang Shi Xen’s daughter. What can you expect?”

“How can a young girl like her go so far astray? Such a shame.”

“Wait, can I book her? I want to taste a young girl like her. Must taste like heaven.”

“Idiot. Not now.”

“Even though it is hard to earn money, she should not go that way. There are a lot of humble jobs outside.”

Wendy looked around. She could not understand what was these people were talking about.

“How could she become a mistress, and to an old man like that?”

When Wendy heard the last sentence, she felt a bomb drop on her head.

‘How did this happen? Why did these people know about this?’ Wendy screamed in her mind. Then, she saw Lisa standing not far from her.

“What did you do?” Wendy screamed at Lisa. She ran toward Lisa and wanted to attack her.

Lisa steadily avoided Wendy’s attack, causing Wendy to fall on the ground.

Lisa bent over and whispered into Wendy’s ear. “Enjoy the attention, but remember, this is just the beginning.”

Wendy looked at Lisa with shock on her face. Lisa stood up and left the scene.

Wendy, still in shock, no longer reacted to the people surrounding her. ‘How did this happen? It’s Lisa that should be embarrassed, not me.’ Wendy stood up and gave a sharp look to the people mocking her.

People around her got scared when they saw Wendy giving them that look. However, it was only for a moment.

One woman sneered to Wendy. “Why are you looking at us like that? Do you think we are scared of you? Humph! You are just a slut.” The woman said.

“I am not.” Wendy shouted.

“The pictures say a different thing,” another man said. He threw some pictures near Wendy’s feet.

Wendy bent down and picked up a picture. Looking at it, she saw that it was a picture of herself accompanied by an old man. Startled, she looked around at the other photos on the ground.  Each one showed her with a different man. ‘How are these pictures here? She didn’t see anyone taking pictures when she was with those old men.’

“This is not me.” Wendy denied.

Unfortunately for her, Photoshop was not yet developed at this time, nor did the people in the village have any knowledge of it, so the pictures were genuine and the people would only believe what they saw. Not to mention, the pictures were showing a full image of Wendy with her thick makeup and sexy-ly dressed up.

“I don’t want to marry a girl like this.”

“Me neither.”

“The pictures already show her face, but she still won’t admit to it.”

“No... No... No... This is not me. Maybe it’s someone with the same face as me,” Wendy said, still trying to deny it.

“I saw you dressed up like this before,” A middle-aged woman said while holding a picture on her hand showing Wendy dressed in a sexy, short black dress.

Wendy wanted to cry. She indeed remembered this middle-aged woman from the other night. She was getting out of the car and saw this middle-aged woman. She did not except this middle-aged woman to remember about that night.

“I said it was not me!” Wendy screamed and run away from the place.

Lisa was standing not far from where everyone was attacking Wendy and saw what was going on. She smiled wickedly. This was just a small portion of her revenge, more would be coming soon.

Wendy did not want to stay at that place any longer, she wanted to go home. Turning around, she ran away as fast as she could. When she arrived at her house, she met their neighbour. This was the same neighbour that the Wang Family had stolen the vegetables from her garden before. It was Madam Jiang.

“Owh, it’s the little slut,” Madam Jiang said as she smirked at Wendy.

“What are you just say?” Wendy asked in anger.

“Are you deaf? I said you are a little slut.” Madam Jiang gave a small laugh.

“Mind your language, you old hag.” Wendy screamed and ran into her house.

Everyone already knew about her being a kept woman and so, she entered the house in a very bad mood. Inside the house, Yeri and Madam Wang were sitting on the sofa while on the table, there was a lot of pictures that showed Wendy with some old men.

Madam Wang looked very angry. When she saw Wendy entering the house, she stood up and slapped Wendy on her face. ‘Pang.’ It was a very strong slap. Wendy did not have time to avoid, so she fell down after receiving the slap.

“Mum, what are you doing?” Wendy screamed at her mother while holding her cheek.

“You ask what am I doing? Then, let me ask you, what are you doing?” Madam Wang grabbed the pictures and threw them to Wendy.

“It is my job. The money was from this job,” Wendy admitted to her mother. Then she continued. “All the expenses for this house, I paid with that money. Our father was in jail, you are not working. The normal job would not be enough to be able to pay for everything.”

Wendy stood up and looked at her mother.

“I knew you worked like this, that is not the point. What I want to know is how could you have been so careless as to let people take pictures of you?” Madam Wang had actually already known about Wendy’s job, the problem was, she didn’t want anyone else to know. That was why she was angry with Wendy.

Madam Wang used to do the same thing when she was younger and before she got to know Mr Wang and eventually married him. She also knew this kind of job was well paid.

“I don’t know. When I was out with those old men, there was no one taking pictures.” Wendy explained. She was pretty sure about that.

“Then, how do these pictures come out?” Madam Wang asked.

“Mum, I’m sure Lisa, that bitch was the one behind this.” Wendy said in resentment.

“That bitch?” Madam Wang looked at Wendy.

“Yes, Mum. I met her this morning.” Wendy told her.

“What did you do to provoke her?” Madam Wang asked.

Madam Wang realized that that bitch did not attack her family since their family did not do anything to that bitch. That meant that this daughter of hers did something first that made that bitch attack her family.

“I... didn’t doing anything.” Wendy said, not wanting to admit that she was the one who made that old man kidnapped Lisa.

However, Yeri did not want to keep the secret from their mother so she decided to tell their mother about what Wendy did to Lisa.

“Mum, Sister, she told me that her boss was interested in Lisa, so she told her boss to kidnap Lisa.” Yeri revealed the truth to their mother.

“You!!!” Wendy pointed to Yeri.

“Sister, we can’t lie to Mum. She has to know.” Yeri felt that it was the right thing to do to tell their mother about what happened.

“You!!!” Madam Wang shouted to Wendy. “Why are you inviting problems? That bitch had clearly already forgotten about us. Why have you reminded her?”

Wendy did not answer. She just wanted to get even with Lisa. That bitch destroyed her life so it was only fair to destroy that bitch’s life too.

“If you want to make her suffer, do it without her realizing that it was you.” Madam Wang added. She was not that kind. She also wanted to ruin that bitch’s life.

“Sister, how about you call your boss and ask about the situation?” Yeri suggested.

Madam Wang thought it was a good thing to do. “Yeah. Call your boss and ask him about the matter.” Madam Wang urged Wendy to make a call to her boss.

Wendy called the old man. She waited for a long time before the call was connected.

“Darling, what are you doing? I miss you.” Wendy said after the call was answered.

Madam Wang and Yeri felt disgusted as they knew that Wendy’s boss was an old man. Yeri rolled her eyes at Wendy. Wendy did not notice because she was so focused on the call.

“Hello.” A girl answered the call.

“What? Who are you? Why do you answering my man’s cellphone?” Wendy asked in anger.

“Who are you?” The girl did not answer Wendy, but instead, asked who Wendy was.

“I’m Wendy, his lover.” Wendy answered proudly.

“Miss, I’m from the police station. Mr. Hong had been arrested for multiple crimes.” The girl informed Wendy.

Wendy was shocked and she quickly ended the call. Her face showed a panicked expression. Wendy turned to Madam Wang.

“Mum, my boss had been arrested.” Wendy told Madam Wang in panic.

“What?” Madam Wang also shocked when she heard this. Then she hit Wendy’s head.

“Mum, why are you hitting me?” Wendy held the place that Madam Wang hit her.

“You idiot. Why do you telling them your name?” Madam Wang said to Wendy.

Wendy was surprised. Yeah, she told the police officer her name and her relationship to the old man. The police officer might find her soon or later.

“Mum, what should I do?” Wendy asked she could not think of any ideas to get herself out of trouble.

Yeri just watched Wendy. Usually, Wendy was smarter when this kind of problem occurred, however, today it seemed that Wendy had become stupid.

Just then, someone knocked on their door. The sound was very loud and caused the three  Wang women to jump at the sound.

“Mum, could be the police officer has come to arrest me as well?” Wendy was scared.

“Yeri, go and take a look.” Madam Wang asked Yeri to go and look who was at their front door.

“What? Why should I? I’m scared too.” Yeri rejected.

“Hey, I know you are in there. Come out if you want your son to be safe.” The man in front of Wang House shouted.

Madam Wang stood up and ran to open the door. They threatened her son’s safety and her son was her life. She could not let her son be in danger if she could help it.

“Mum.” Wendy and Yeri screamed at their mother, they did not want her mother to open the door.

However, Madam Wang opened the door. There were two men dressed in casual clothes giving off a bad feeling.

“What are you doing with my son?” Madam Wang asked.

“Madam, your son was gambling at our place and he lost a lot of money. He then was caught cheating. If you want your son to be safe, prepare 10 million dollars within two days. If we have the money, we will give your son back to you sound and safe. However, if you can’t prepare the money in the time allowed, be brave, you might not see your son ever again.” One of the men said in a rather steady tone.

“What? My son does not gamble, you are lying. Give me back my son!” Madam Wang screamed.

“Hey, old hag. I’m telling you in a nice tone. Your son is indeed a gambler.” The man’s anger exploded. While at first, he was trying to deal with things civilly, now he was talking in a harsh tone.

“No.. No... No... My son is just 14 years old,” Madam Wang could not accept what the man was saying.

“Sir, my brother is just a teenager. He could not be a gambler.” Wendy tried to talk with the men.

“Age does not matter. What matters is that your brother was caught cheating in my boss’s place. Just prepare the money and we will let your brother go.” The men wanted to leave the Wang House because there were some people already gathered outside to see what was going on.

Some of the people heard what was Madam Wang screaming about...her son was gambling and had been caught cheating. Not only that, but her daughter’s news also came out today.

“The men said her son was gambling somewhere.”

“Eh, are you sure? Her son is just 14 years old.”

“I came first, so I heard about what is she screaming before.”

“Wow, so young but...”

“Then do you hear about her oldest daughter?”

“What about that?”

“Yeah, I heard about that. Her eldest daughter became the mistress to an old man.”

“What? Really?”

“Yeah. I just came back from the market and everyone seems to be talking about this. They even have pictures of her serving the old men.”

“Wow, I really did not expect her to be like that.”

The people gathered in front of Wang House gossiped about the Wang family’s scandals. They did not bother to lower their voices so the Wang Family heard everything that they had just said.

“Get lost.” Madam Wang lost her temper that shouted angrily to the people.

The people looked at the Wang Family then they left the place. Wendy and Yeri helped their mother into the house as Madam Wang was crying so hard she could barely stand.

“My son... My son...” Madam Wang just said the two words over and over again.

“Sister, what should we do?” Yeri asked her sister.

Wendy frowned. Her problem did not have a solution and now her brother’s problem also came along. She already felt a headache coming on.

“But where did Yu Jin get the money to gamble?” Yeri could not help but wonder about that.

Wendy shook her head. “I did give him 100 RMB past few days. But still, that was a little amount of money.”

Yeri was silent. She also thought the same. 100 RMB was a too small amount of money to gamble with.

The Wang Family did not know that Wang Yu Jin used that money to also gamble using a slot machine and he was winning. Having a taste of winning, he played a lot and every time he played, he won.

Wang Yu Jin did not longer satisfy with the slot machines, so, he began to gamble with other people.

“My son. We should save your brother.” Madam Wang grabbed Wendy’s hand.

“Mum, we also want to save Yu Jin but we do not have the money.” Wendy sighed.

“Let’s go and borrow from Lisa. She has a lot of money now, right?” Madam Wang suggested.

“Mum, do you think that bitch would lend her money to us?” Wendy told the truth. Yeah, Lisa, that bitch, she would never lend her money to Wang Family.

“We should try. He is your only brother. Do you want him to die?” Madam Wang shouted again.

Wendy and Yeri frowned. They already knew the result. With the previous incident that Wendy provoked Lisa and told the old man to kidnap Lisa, Lisa might not help them. Wendy and Yeri looked at each other, they knew that they could not stop their mother’s plan to borrow some money from Lisa.
