Lisa could climb back but that was too difficult because the escalator was moving. She might fall back.

So, Lisa observed her surroundings. Looking for something that she could find to help her from falling down without getting injured in the process. She saw some wires but it was so thin, she figured it would not be helping her at all.

Then she saw a poster. The poster was indeed long. It reached the first floor. From what she could see, the poster was made up of some kind of cloth. If she jumped and grabbed the poster, she could slide down.

But the distance of the poster was currently a little bit far from her. She needed some accelerator to jump forward to the poster.

Using her hands, she swang forward and backward. Seeing her act, people below were screaming.

“Girl, hang on.”

“Be strong.”

A lot of encouraging words had been shouted from the people below. Lisa ignored them. She increased the speed of the swing. When she felt the speed was enough, she jumped straight to the poster.

Everyone keeps screaming. Even louder than before. The police and the paramedic arrived at the scene and looked at Lisa’s act. They indeed felt it was very dangerous.

However, Lisa successfully grabbed the poster. She began to slide down. From screaming in fear, the people below began to cheer for her. In a minute, she reached the first floor.

‘Aoi, where are you?’ Lisa asked Aoi.

‘Master, I’m chasing the man. He is currently on the fourth floor. I guess he wants to run to the parking car area on the fifth floor.’ Aoi informed Lisa.

‘Okay. I’m heading to you, now.’ Lisa replied.

“Miss, are you okay?” The police officer asked Lisa when he saw she was standing up in silence.

“I’m okay. Can you step aside? I want to catch someone.” Lisa asked the police officer.

Because Lisa sounded very cold, the people made a way for her to pass by. She ran towards the emergency stairs and climbed up. She ran at high speed. The police officers who ran behind her were astonished by her speed. In three minutes, she was already on the fifth floor.

Lisa found Aoi with the blood bond. Aoi was currently 50 meters away from her location. She ran toward Aoi. She saw Aoi.

‘Master, there he is.’ Aoi showed the man.

Lisa approached the man from behind. Because the man did not realize someone was behind him, he could not avoid Lisa’s kick. The kick was very strong. The man fell forward.

“What the fuck?” The man cursed.

Lisa turned the man, facing her and gave the punch straight on his nose several times. The man could not fight back.

“That is the price for pushing me.” Lisa pulled out the handkerchief and wiped the blood on her hand and looked down at the man.

The police officers arrived at the scene. They could see the man was lying down and the girl seemed to wipe her hand.

“What is going on here?” One of the police officers asked Lisa.

“He is the man that pushed me off the escalator. And he is probably a drug dealer.” Lisa answered.

“What?”

The police officers quickly inspected the man’s body and found about five packets of pills and some cash money. The man wanted to struggle but the police officers hurriedly resisted the man. The man was handcuffed by the police officers.

“If you didn’t push me, you will not be ended up with this.” Lisa said to the man before the man was brought away from the place.

The police officers who heard the sentence were dumbfounded. The man who was having drugs on his hand, had just been caught because he pushed the girl.

“Miss, can you follow us and make the sentence?” The police officer said politely after seeing the savage side of the girl in front of him.

Lisa looked at her watch. Well, she still got time.

“Come Aoi, we have to stop by at the police station before going to the orphanage.” Lisa called Aoi.

Lisa and Aoi ride the police car. Arrived at the police station, they were brought into a room. The police officers asked a few questions about her, like who was she? Where was she came from?

Lisa answered the truth, saying she was a student from Starlight University. Coming here to visit the Harmony Orphanage.

They also asked why she wanted to visit the orphanage. Lisa directly said that was because she was also from that orphanage. That made the police officer shut up for a moment.

So, they began to ask about the incident today. Lisa began her story when she was suddenly pushed by the man and ended up falling from the escalator. Using her own strength, she managed to save herself without getting any injuries.

Then, the police officer asked how she knew that the man would be in the parking car area. Lisa pointed to Aoi and saying, she had her dog’s help.

The police officers confirmed the story from the eye witness. After recording everything that Lisa had just said, the police officer released them. They offered her a drive to the Harmony Orphanage.

Lisa rejected their offer. It would give a bad impression to the kids at the orphanage.

She took a taxi to go to the Harmony Orphanage. When she reached the orphanage, it was already evening. She paid for the fees and got out from the taxi. The children were currently playing at the ground, stopped playing because a car stopped in front of their home. They wanted to see who was coming. When Aoi came out, the children shouted happily.

“Guys, it is Aoi...” The children shouted. They quickly ran towards Aoi to get him.

Seeing the children were running toward him, Aoi quickly ran and saved himself. The children were not giving up, so they chased Aoi.

The older children welcomed Lisa. They knew who Lisa was. Grandpa Chang already told them. She was the one who donated a lot of money for them to make sure that they got a better life and a good education. So, they were very grateful to Lisa.

“Sister Lisa, welcome.” A boy came and greeted her.

Lisa looked at the boy’s face and started refreshing her memory. She had already read all the information about the children. There were about 35 children living at the Harmony Orphanage.

The boy in front of her was Kim Haruto. He had been at the Harmony Orphanage since he was 9 years old when his parents passed away due to the car accident. It had been 6 years since he is staying in the Harmony Orphanage.

“Is Grandpa Chang here?” Lisa asked him.

“Grandpa Chang is inside his office.” Haruto told her. “Let’s go inside.” He led her in.

Lisa entered together with him. He knocked on the door. Because the door was not fully closed, He looked inside. Chang Yu Qian saw him and asked him.

“Is there anything?” Chang Yu Qian asked with a smile.

“Grandpa Chang, Sister Lisa is here.” Haruto informed Chang Yu Qian.

“Owh, let her in.” Chang Yu Qian quickly stood up and welcomed the girl. “Miss Tang, you came.”

Haruto looked at Chang Yu Qian and went out.

“Grandpa Chang, you can call me Lisa. Okay. Are you fine?” Lisa asked Chang Yu Qian.

“Don’t worry. I’m still okay.” Chang Yu Qian smiled.

“I don’t have things to do since it is the beginning of the new semester. So, I decided to come and visit the orphanage.” Lisa told Chang Yu Qian about her purpose. “Grandpa Chang, can I borrow your hand?” Lisa wanted to check his pulse since she could see his complexion was not really good.

Chang Yu Qian without any question followed Lisa’s order. He actually did not know why the girl wanted to borrow his hand. He was surprised when she suddenly checked his pulse. Lisa looked very serious when she was checking his pulse.

When she checked Chang Yu Qian’s pulse, she discovered that he had cardiovascular diseases. It was not at the serious phase, so it could be controlled.

“Grandpa Chang, can I know if you get exhausted easily, or do you feel pain in your arms, or nausea or indigestion, or heartburn, or stomach pain?” Lisa asked Chang Yu Qian.

Chang Yu Qian was shocked. He did feel what Lisa had described. The most recent happened was he kept feeling pain spread in his arms. He thought it was because he was old. So, it kept happening.

“Are your legs, feet or ankle are swollen?” Lisa asked again.

“Yes, everything that you mention, has happened to me. But how do you know?” Chang Yu Qian showed a surprised look.

“Well, actually, I’m a medical student from Starlight University. I’m also learning about traditional Chinese medicine.” Lisa revealed her background.

“A doctor?”

“Well, not exactly a doctor yet. But yeah, in future I will be one.” Lisa smiled.

“Oh, that is why you took a reading of my pulse. So, what is happening to me, actually?” Chang Yu Qian wanted to know about his condition.

“Grandpa Chang, you have cardiovascular disease.” Lisa said.

“What? Cardoseluar? What is that?” Chang Yu Qian had difficulties in pronouncing the word.

“It’s cardiovascular disease. It means heart disease. This might lead to a heart attack and heart failure which means death.” Lisa explained in the simplest terms.

“Death?” Who is going die, Dad?” Chang Kang An entered the room with a shocked face.

Chang Yu Qian frowned. “Close the door.” Chang Yu Qian did not want the children to hear about this.

Chang Kang An quickly closed the door. He approached Lisa and Chang Yu Qian. “Miss Tang, what were you talking about just now?”

Lisa did not answer but looked at Chang Yu Qian. She needed his permission first to talk about his condition in front of his son. Chang Yu Qian nodded giving his permission.

“Your father has cardiovascular disease or the other meaning, heart disease. Like I said to Grandpa Chang just now, it could lead to a heart attack. At worst, a heart failure meaning death.” Lisa repeated what she had said to Chang Yu Qian just now again to Chang Kang An.

The two men were in silence. Chang Kang An frowned when looking to his father. He could not expect his father had a disease.

“How do you know, Miss Tang?” Chang Kang An threw a question.

“I’m a medical student from Starlight University and also learning traditional Chinese medicine.” Lisa told Chang Kang An.

Chang Kang An also did not expect she was still a student. Not to mention a medical student. He thought she was a businesswoman or at least studied business.

Chang Kang An looked at Chang Yu Qian with his serious eyes. He did not expect his father to have a health problem. However, he could not believe Lisa blindly.

Feeling Chang Kang giving her a distrustful look, Lisa smiled. “Well, if you don’t believe me, you can go and do a medical check-up for Grandpa Chang. I know you might not believe me because I’m just a medical student.”

“Miss Tang, don’t misunderstand me.” Chang Kang An said.

“Don’t worry. I understand.” Lisa understood what thoughts were in Chang Kang An’s mind.

There was someone knocking on the door that had ended their discussion. Chang Kang An went and opened the door. It was Shi Yuan, wife of Chang Kang An.

“Dear, what is it?” Chang Kang An asked.

“There are two vans in front of our door saying they want to deliver things. Did you buy anything? Or does Dad buy something?” Shi Yuan explained.

“No. I don’t. And I don’t think Dad has bought things.” Chang Kang An frowned. He got afraid by thinking that it might be a scam. There were a lot of things like this that had happened recently in the town.

“Actually, it is me.” Lisa said it.

Chang Kang An and Shi Yuan turned to Lisa. The girl was smiling and nodding at the same time.

“Is it Miss Tang actually?” Chang Kang An wanted to confirm it.

“Yes. Those are gifts for the children actually.” Lisa said.

They went out to see the delivery person.

“You can put it in the main hall.” Chang Kang An asked the people to bring things to the main hall.

The children were kind of interested in things that people had bought in. They spotted the games that Lisa brought in the boxes. Lisa thanked the delivery person and gave them some tips. The deliverymen were indeed happy with the given tips and they left.

The children gathered around the main hall. They could not wait to see what those boxes contained. Lisa stepped forward. She opened the first box. Inside the box, there were the storybooks. Lisa pulled one of them out.

“Inside this box, there are a lot of storybooks. You can read it during your free time.” Lisa told the children.

The young children cheered happily when Lisa told them. Lisa opened the second box and third box.

“Meanwhile inside this box, there are books for studies. I bought a lot of reference books, for children in elementary school, junior high school and also high school. You need to share with each other, okay?” Lisa smiled.

“Yes.” The children responded happily.

Lisa opened the last two boxes. Inside the boxes, there were the games that she chose.

“Well, study might be stressful, so, I also bought you some games that you can play together, outside and inside.” Lisa told them while looking at them.

This time, Lisa got more responses. She laughed. They were children, so she understood, playing was important, after all.

Chang Yu Qian and Chang Kang An approached Lisa. The impression of this young girl in front of them became a lot better. They knew she was different than other young girls.

“Thank you so much, Miss Tang.” Chang Yu Qian thanked Lisa.

“Sigh, Grandpa Chang. I’m told you to call me Lisa.” Lisa corrected Chang Yu Qian.

“Yes... Yes... Miss Lalisa.”Chang Yu Qian said. However, he did not throw the word ‘Miss’ and also called her 'Lalisa'.

Lisa gave up. He could call whatever he wanted to call her.

The time flew very fast. It was almost night time. Lisa got ready to leave. She would find a hotel to stay for one night and leave for Starlight University the next day.

Seeing Lisa getting ready to leave, Shi Yuan felt very worried. It was almost night. The town was not a safe place for a girl like Lisa. Shi Yuan approached her.

“Miss Lalisa, since it is already dark outside, you can spend your night here. It is not safe for a girl like you to stay outside during night time.” Shi Yuan said.

Hearing this, Chang Kang An also nodded. “Yeah, Miss Lalisa. You can stay here. We do have an empty room.”

“Yeah. Ningning, can you help me clean the empty room?” Chang Yu Qian called a girl named Chang Ningning.

“Okay, Grandpa Chang.” Ningning nodded and left to the room.

Shi Yuan and elder girls went to the kitchen to cook their dinner. Lisa did not know what to do, so, she followed them to go to the kitchen. At first, Shi Yuan did not allow Lisa to help them since she was a guest but she insisted to help them. So, Shi Yuan allowed her.

After one hour, the dinner for about 42 people was ready. The dining room was relatively large because of the total number of people. The room was not the correct term. It should be called ‘hall’.

The dinner was a simple meal. It was fried rice with fried egg. The children ate happily.

Chang Yu Qian looked to Lisa and said, “I’m sorry Miss Lalisa. It is just fried rice.” Chang Yu Qian felt ashamed because he could not serve a better meal to their donator.

“It’s okay. I'm really enjoying it also look at my dog, he is eating happily as a foodie, meaning, the food is very delicious.” Lisa pointed to Aoi when Aoi gulped the fried rice happily.

Hearing Lisa mentioned it, Chang Yu Qian felt happy. “Let’s finish it.”
