Rhys
"You'll be in charge of Alison Storm's safety," had my father said. "Don't let anything happen to her. Mr. Storm will be chopping off your head if you let anyone touch his precious girl's hair."
Easier said than done.
She is a goddamn bitch.
I tried being nice, despite her just walking right into me without even apologising. I tried. And she fucking blew me off.
How am I supposed to be the bodyguard of a girl that doesn't want any protection. Clearly she knows how to keep anyone away from her. The second she opens her mouth, people run. And I totally understand why.
What I don't understand; how doesn't she have tons of guys running after her anyway?
I mean, I suppose she scares them off enough, but damn these guys must be pussies then.
If it weren't for my new job with her—Don't go there, Rhys.
Yes, she has a pretty fuck-able mouth. The dress she was wearing, far too fucking short for school.
How in the hell is her father the most powerful man in the US, the most feared one too, and she still walks around like she doesn't have to fear anything happening to her?
Perhaps because she doesn't.
Before anyone would even get remotely close to our little Miss Sparkles, they'd no longer have hands on their bodies.
Especially now with me as her bodyguard.
Obviously Mr. Storm knows I'll be in charge of her, but I get the feeling that she doesn't know. If her father doesn't tell her, who am I to say the word?
Fucking up with this particular client, my own father will have my head hanging up from the ceiling as a trophy. One wrong move and my father's business will be ruined. One wrong move and I will be dead.
So just do everything the right way.
Oh but with our Miss Sparkles, nothing will ever be going right.
Anyway, in order to make this somewhat right, I will have to befriend her. Be-fucking-friend her. Talk about the impossible.
But, hey, at least my social media's will come in handy for once. Not that I ever use them but I know she does. Because despite the haters at school, Alison has quite the people following her not only in the real world, but also online.
So I hit the follow button, doubting she'll even notice as her follower count seems to be going up hundreds by the second.
But you know what? Public profiles mean I can find out a lot about her without even having to try. Not that I don't already know far too much.
By skipping through her tons of story highlights, I've learned a couple of things about her;
She absolutely loves food. And I mean the fancy looking kinds of food. Food from Restaurants that seem to have longer waiting time than booking a flight two years in advance. Yet, I get the feeling that Miss Sparkles doesn't even have to wait a minute for a table there.
She travels a lot, though that's not all that surprising given her family background, given her rank in this society.
She's an animal lover, or so it seems. Every other picture is her with yet another (exotic) animal next to her. It varies from small pets like dogs and cats to fucking giraffes and lions.
And as it appears, Alison Storm attends quite the number of galas. Donating daddy's money to charities for disabled kids, homeless shelters, and so much more.
