Modern AU
School Setting

You sighed at the fact you needed tutoring, the usual average score that you tried to maintain wasn't met. But you must admit, your lessons got tougher and you've been distracted a lot. Your teacher asked you to seek help with it but nothing changed since you seem to forget about it. Before exams took place, she asked you to meet someone in the council's office, a certain student who can help you. You shrugged as you knocked on the door but your heart soon stopped beating for a moment when you heard the voice that came from inside.
"Come in," He answered and you knew who it was just by hearing. "No-norman?" you stammered under your breath, feeling the heat of your cheeks. "I said come in..." he added and you gulped. It took a few seconds before you gained back your composure because who knew Norman, your crush, will be the one to greet you? Norman grew impatient of the sudden knock which is why he stood up to see who it was. The both of you held the doorknob at the same time, while turning it to open the door. You took a step inside in the process, making the two of you perk up in surprise of each other's presence just a feet away.
"Uh-I'm sorry..." you apologized while Norman nodded no, "Uh-I-no, it's alright." he replied and welcomed you inside. That was the first ever interaction you had with him and you couldn't keep your gaze towards him, afraid that you'll blush the second you have eye contact. "So, you must be (y/n)?" he asked and you just hummed in agreement. He noticed you didn't look towards him the moment you sat down and smiled in amusement because of it.
"So uh, you're here for tutoring, right?" and again you just hummed yes, "Look, Emma is supposed to do that for you, but something came up. So, I'll be the one instead." he mentions and your eyes widened, finally turning towards the cerulean eyed boy, "Wait, you?" you questioned which Norman interpreted it as though you were uncomfortable about it. "Well, if you don't want and you can wait then maybe-" you cut him off, not wanting to decline such an offer. "No!" you exclaimed and he was taken aback. You recognized his reaction and so you rubbed the back of your head in embarrassment, "Ah, sorry, I mean, I don't mind if you'll be my tutor..." you mumbled and he thought to himself, "Cute."
"Let's start then?" he asked and you nodded yes. That was the memory you were currently reliving as you leaped through the hallways, taking hold of your letter and chocolates as a gift with your confession. It's been about 2 years since that day, both you and Norman have become good friends till today. You also get along pretty well with his other friends. Obviously, your feelings for him grew, I mean, how could you not? He was always there for you, caring, charming, hardworking, you liked the feeling of being secure with his presence. But you also managed to conceal your flusteredness better towards him since you got used to being around him.
