Chapter 3

PufferPelt groomed his fur, looking up at the sky, how the clouds where puffy and white, the sky was a perfect Blue. PufferPelt looked back down towards the clan, and saw his Half-siblings playing again. PufferPelt flicked a pebble over to them, and they jumped up, and looked back at PufferPelt, who chuckled. " Will you play with us! " JaggedKit mewed. " Of course! " PufferPelt meowed, and stood up, trotting over to them. " Can we have a Big Bass ride! " HawkKit mewed, jumping on his paws. " Sure, Hop in HawkKit! " PufferPelt crouched down, and HawkKit climbed up into his back, and held onto his shoulders. And quickly, PufferPelt zoomed around camp, turning left and Right quickly. " Wish i has your energy! " LoudBelly called from the elders den, the old brown Tom laughed deeply. PufferPelt leapt up into the air, and landed on his paws, and crouched down to let HawkKit climb down, giggling loudly. As LilyKit waddled foreword for the next ride, Talon pushed her off PufferPelts back. " What are you doing " Talon growled. " I'm just Playing with the kits " PufferPelt mewed, standing his ground. " They are my kits, I can say who and who can't be near them, and you can't " Talon growled, and shoved PufferPelt back from the kits. " Talon! Enough, He is there kin, he can play with them " LakeShine mewed, lapping at LilyKits fur. " You stay out of this! " Talon growled, slamming his paw in front of LakeShine, causing her to quickly pick up LilyKit, and leading her other kits into the nursery. " Talon! You disgrace this clan with your attitude! " MistyStar jumped down from the Wet rock. " If you treat your mate and kin like this..then maybe you shouldn't have your apprentice anymore, MossPelt! " MistyStar called, and the Black and orange tortishell she emerged from the nursery " Yes MistyStar? " MossPelt asked, tilting his head. " Would you take over PebblePaws training? Talon has lost apprentice privileges " MistyStar growled. " Of course " MossPelt dipped her head, and  went out to find PebblePaw. " Your a Fish brain! PebblePaw would of been a strong warrior under my training " Talon growled. " He may of been,  but he will still be strong with MossPelt, now, why don't you tend to LoudBelly for the next moon and a Half, and I now who your Kits mentors will be " MistyStar chuckled. " You won't..." Talon Hissed. " Yes, PufferPelt, GrassPelt, and PrimrosePeak. " PufferPelt felt his fur puff up, and calmed down. He would care for all these kits, even if talon made it impossible to. " Talon..I don't want you near our...near My kits anymore...if you come near them, I'll claw your nose off! " LakeShine hissed, he back arched. " Whatever, I have more important things to do " Talon snarled, and stalked off. PufferPelt sat, and sighed. " MistyStar...Thank you...I'm sorry about how we meet, Talon truly told me he had no mate...I want to know each other better..will you go on a walk with me later? " LakeShine asked. " Of course..I'm sorry for how I acted " MistyStar nodded. PufferPelt smiled, and began to walk away " Oh, and PufferPelt!
