"Dude I'm beginning to think I'll jinx this shit and the plane will crash," Y/n was only half-joking as he shook his leg anxiously.

He was at the airport with Tommy on the phone, waiting for the plane that would take him to London where Tubbo's dad would pick him up (with Tubbo in the car of course).

"No, it won't. Unless I get someone's grandma to curse it," Tommy said and Y/n laughed dryly. "I'm only joking man, you'll be fine. And stop whining so much."

"I want you to take this seriously. I could die Tommy."

"Yeah, but you won't."

"And how would you know that?" Y/n asked him expectantly. The truth is that there was no way of knowing and Y/n was very uncomfortable with flying, so he was definitely going to see all of this from the negative side.

"Because the chance that you die today is so small that it doesn't even matter!" Tommy exclaimed.

"Not with that attitude it doesn't," Y/n rolled his eyes playfully to fool himself (if anyone) that he was fine when he clearly was nervous as hell. Then he listened for a second. "Oh god, it's time to board the plane."

"Hey, hey king, don't worry. Think of something nice," Tommy said hurriedly.

"Like punching you in the face?" Y/n replied with a smug grin. He knew joking was a defense mechanism but that couldn't stop him.

"Oh, fuck off," Tommy groaned and Y/n laughed. "I hope you have a shit flight and that when you get here they are late and you have to wait at the airport for an hour."

"Thanks, Tommy," Y/n rolled his eyes with a smile. "Shut up for a minute, I gotta show this lady my ticket." He probably should have just hung up on Tommy because of course he decided to do the exact opposite of what Y/n told him to do.
