1st Person. Y/n's Pov.

(Warning! It get's spicy spicy.)

My eyes dully stared up at the ceiling of my dorm room, holiday's are such a downer. No matter how hard I'd tried I just couldn't shake the overwhelming gloom of being alone. Almost all of my classmates had gone home for the holidays this year, even Bakugou. I winced upon remembering the explosive blonde.

"Whatever, I just have to get over it. It doesn't last forever," that may be true, but it always reoccurs.  Sitting up from my pillow I slid off of the bed and stretched, "maybe I should bake something, cookies maybe?" Putting on a thin hoodie, one that's not mine actually, I exited the dorm after locking it behind me. Glancing down for a moment I inspected my nails at random, they were a painted red and white in a pattern: alternating every other nail (red, white, red, white, red, ect.).

"Peppermint cookies sound good," with a nod to myself I hastily made my way to the elevator and down to the first level all the way from the fifth, being the top level. Should I make the batter and then crush up the candy cains? Or do I crush them up first before making the batter? I stayed in place for a moment at the entrance of the kitchen with my hands on my hips over an apron. Music has to start first, "obviously." I muttered and took out my wireless headphones that were already connected to my phone and turned on a playlist.

In the end I decided to make the cookie batter first before crushing up the candy cains because the bits of candy were going to go in the mix but also be sprinkled on top with some frosting. Before I knew it the oven was finished preheating and it was time to put the cookies into the oven to bake for a good  10 minutes. During that time I put together the frosting, fishing through the pantries I found green and red food dye.

Shifting my weight from one foot to the other on beat with the song blaring in my ears I separated the frosting into three bowls to color, leaving one it's original color(white). It was brief, but a stray hair drifted in front of my face and directly onto my nose. I stared at it for a good few seconds while wiggling my nose to try and move it. But that didn't work and I spun around to avoid sneezing on anything, however in doing so my back came into contact with the counter's edge quite harshly.

"Ow, bitch!" I cried out in surprise. Not too loudly of course, but a volume I didn't intend to project. My hands caught my headphones as they slipped off of my head, two more sneezes followed almost in rapid fire and when they stopped I scowled, "stupid flower, messing with my nose."

"Bless you," my head immediately snapped up to find the owner of the voice, watching me with an amused gaze. "Are you alright?"

"Shoto!" I straightened up with a bright look, placing my headphones on the counter as he approached me. "Yeah, I'm okay. Um, how long have you been standing over there?" I asked, a bit embarrassed to which he chuckled softly.

"Not long, I got back a while ago. I tried knocking on your dorm door but you didn't answer so I decided to check here," he explained, pulling me closer.

"I see, good timing too. You can help me with decorating the cookies in the oven," the grin on my face was the first one to appear in a while, the Todoroki nodded before lifting a hand up to my cheek.

"You have icing on your cheek," I blinked, not expecting the warmth to briefly connect with my cheek before I watched him lick the icing from his thumb with a hum. "Hmm, sweet." The temperature that rose in my face must've make me rival the shade of a tomato. In utter embarrassment I hid against his chest, burying my face in the crook of his neck.

"S-stupid! Give me a warning," Shoto laughed at my panic and wrapped a hand around my back.

"Sorry, did I embarrass you N/n?" He received a grunt in response as I took in his warmth and inhaled slowly. He let his chin rest on my shoulder, "Nobody's here to see us, so there's nothing to worry about." I knew he was right, he always is it seems.
