Down Bad{Koushi Sugawara x Y/n(fem!)}

1st Person. Y/n's Pov

"Ow, ow, owww," I whined as the crinkle of plastic over an ice pack sounded around my bed room. "Fuuuck wisdom teeth!" Just yesterday I had gone under for the surgery to get said teeth removed, and now the healing process was on it's way. An alarm from my phone caught my attention and I sat up to silence it, it was time to take more medicine. 

Groaning, I set down the ice pack and stumbled out of my room and into the kitchen to acquire a cup of water to make the pill go down easier. At the moment I only take one, but from the paper my mother so graciously gave me to look at(because she's always working), I will start taking another one tomorrow-- an antibiotic, whereas the one I just took helps ease the pain. 

Tenderly I ran my fingertips along my swollen cheeks, personally I found it odd that they weren't puffier. Also that the meds didn't make me all dopey like other people I've seen online, maybe I'm just built different. Wincing for the billionth time today I opened the refrigerator to get a pudding container, a chocolate one to be exact. The tips of my mouth tilted down in anticipation of having to move my jaw at all, but it needed to be done. 

I grabbed a spoon and went back into my room, retaking my spot on the bed and opened the pudding container. My attention was averted to my phone for the second time to see a text from my best friend, it brought a smile to my face(which was quickly replaced by a grimace). 

Koushi(^-^) - Heyyyy :3
Koushi(^-^) - I hope the pain isn't too bad
Koushi(^-^) - This is me reminding you to take your meds! Every 6hrs right? 

Cautiously I stuck a spoonful of chocolatey sweetness into my mouth as I thought over my response to his equally sweet reminder. 

Meh - My whole face hurts. The pains kicking my ass rn >.< 
Meh - I appreciate the reminder btw, it is every 6. 

The pudding quickly disappeared while I reset my phone alarm to go off in another six hours, then I opened my laptop to go to Youtube. All the while an ice pack was alternating from one side of my face to the other. 

Koushi(^-^) - Ofc! You can always count on me. 
Koushi(^-^) - Also, expect me after school. I know how much of a wuss you are when it comes to pain :P 

I could practically feel his teasing tone through the phone and I couldn't help but glare at the screen, trying not to laugh(failing in the process). 

Meh - HEY!
Meh - I am not a wuss!!

Glancing up to my computer screen I laughed in pain at the funny imagery, I was watching anime outtakes. 

Meh - What about practice? Surely you can't skip that? 

My excuse for him was weak as hell and we both knew that, but honestly it was just because I didn't want him to see me in such a pitiful state. 

Koushi(^-^) - I already talked to Daichi, they'll survive practice without me :)

I huff in defeat and accidentally clench my jaw to quickly let out a short whine.

Meh - Sneaky -_-

I shook my head with a stupid grin as I processed that my ice pack had now completely melted and didn't have another one. So that one would have to go back in the freezer to solidify again. Koushi had responded when I sat back down. 

Koushi(^-^) - You love me tho <3 

In response I just about had a heart attack. Because he had no idea just how right he was, I do love him. A lot. But in true wimp fashion I'm too scared to bring it up in serious conversation because the looming 'what ifs' are just too freakin scary to think about.
